Forgot if I mentioned it before but, tan0's really got me into the Yachiyo/Tsuruno ship. Their recent picture was of Yachiyo sleeping on Tsuruno's lap while Tsuruno was blushing. I need to find some fanfics for this ship.

I wonder if they're ever going to do the Madogatari event though? That one has a free welfare unit in it that looks pretty good...

Apparently they never even appeared on the farther-along Taiwanese server, so we can safely assume they're not happening.

I figured as much by now. Too bad I was sort of looking forward to that event. Now hopefully Spirit Enhancement will be added soon-ish to the NA server.

Edit: How does everyone have the real life stamina to fight Walpurgisnacht so many times? This event is not really conductive to using auto-battle on so even though I have the stamina potions, I don't have the energy or motivation to kill the same boss tons of times.

With my new 4⭐characters: Sayaka, Konoha, Momoko, and Touka along with my existing cast I really don't need any new units for a while... although I will keep rolling on the free premium banner every day because it gives me the chance to get Rena, Nemu, Tsukuyo, Riko, 2S Madoka, 3S Mifuyu...

I'm not losing it or anything it's just NA's unpredictable schedule (unlike Fate/Grand Order where it's easy to see what events will be happening when) makes saving up or rolling on anything uncertain.

There's also the fact that eventually there will be no new content to translate. At which point what will the NA team do? Make new content just to keep having something to do? Shut down the server? Rerun an old event? Something else?

You're not actually defending them for the rushed schedule are you?

I'm putting in a minimum amount of work for the current event since it's not that much fun for me. Also an interesting thing is that voices (same thing with movies/videos) are used during the event even if they have been disabled via settings. I've had to mute the voices until the bug gets fixed so the event data taxes up less room on my phone.

Really? I guess that what happens when I reply late at night. Still the fact that they're both quick servants stands. Anyway I hope to max out my Ryouma today and maybe Lu Bu. Hopefully the anniversary will give a reset on the mana prism shop like other big events in the game have in the past. I really want to use the All XP cards on my Okita Alter to work towards level 90.

Well I now have maxed out my Onward to the Light! memoria. Have gotten Kokoro's doppel making it my ninth doppel soon to be tenth once Ashley's doppel releases. I'm now working on getting normal Madoka's doppel.

Still doesn't make it better just because people "predicted" that it would come out after the Last Magia event. Not only will they do the Eternal Sakura limited fate weave, but they will likely do the YachiIro one soon after. Not that it matters for me since I won't be rolling on any of them. Also I got my first copy of Konoha on today's free 10-roll.

Edit: Nothing to do with the current event or rolls, but I like keeping memoria that gives status immunity unmerged as it lets me use them on more than one magical girl and that's more important than a few extra stat points on stages where enemies spam those effect. I do however have almost four of the Love Smells Like This memoria completely MLB'd though.

Looks like Aniplex is up to their old tricks again. Now the Rumor of the Eternal Sakura limited fate was announced as being up at the same time as the Ashley fate weave... If I'd know this was going to happen I wouldn't have spend my magia stones on Touka. :(

Any tips for getting the connect vs Mami in chapter 2? Even months ago my girls curb stomped her so fast I could never get the connect. Now it's basically impossible- I suppose I could use my level 1 Sayaka although does anyone have any low level character they could put up temporarily?

Edit: I forgot to mention but, I was able to successfully complete all of Chapter 10 that's been released up to now. Am now working on Magical Girl Side Stories till the event drops tomorrow.

Edit: Was browsing through pixiv and found this. I really like the parody of Red Riding Hood there. RRH Kaede, Big Bad Wolf Rena, Momoko as the huntswoman, and Mitama as the grandma. There's also a few cute Tsukasa/Tsukuyo images and some other ships in the gallery.

Edit: How's everyone doing with clearing the magical girl side stories? I've got a backlog of 20+ girls that I need to go through sometime soon-ish.

Edit: Today I rolled my first copy of Momoko on the daily free roll along with 2 Hinanos and a four star Mifuyu CEs.

Continuing the discussion about healing and healers from the Kaede x Rena image, I guess the healing of physical wounds magical girls could be an ability that most if not all of them possess. However I'm also thinking that magical girls whose wish is unrelated to health or healing probably aren't as good or "mana" efficient as someone like Iroha, Sayaka, (presumably) Madoka, and a few others. Also I'm assuming that magic can heal wounds but not fatigue (be that physical or mental) otherwise magical girls would have no need to sleep. Also unlike servants in Fate magical girls still have physical bodies with similar needs as a normal human ie. they have to eat, sleep, breathe, drink water...

@Rye Keep in mind both Valkyrie and Parvati serve similar functions gameplay-wise. They are quick servants with a quick NP. Since you've already got Parvati at NP3 there's probably no gameplay reason to need Valkyrie too. I don't have Parvati in my Chaldea but I do have NP1 Valkyie. I do have some decent quick supports for her (Rider Ishtar, Wu Zetian, Osakabehime) and other good quick units like Ridetoki and Jack so that's another plus for her.

@Veya Really? I don't have any piercings or tattoos on my body so I wouldn't know. Anyway about magical girl healing didn't it say they had to use magic to heal the amount which depends on the severity of the wound, and healing isn't passive/automatic? Regardless a ear piercing would likely not require a lot of magic to heal- even though cuts on the face can bleed a lot.

@mikeap What's your other popular ships in the game? Mine are this ship, Rika/Ren, Momoko/Mitama, Yachiyo/Mifuyu, Iroha/Sana, Tsukasa/Tsukuyo, Tsuruno/Felicia, Felicia/Kako...

Those bonus packs sure look inviting to buy, however I already have enough magical girls plus neither Ashley, Ultimate Madoka, or YachiIro are selectable from the platinum bundle. I suppose I could get the cheaper one that gives a random 4-star unit although I'd rather spend my money on console games and their dlc.

Keep in mind what characters in-universe believe to be true and what actually is true is not necessarily the same thing. In Salem for instance it's possible the characters believed that if a servant died they'd never be the same again even if that actually wasn't true.

On another note, I really like the auto-repeat quest feature that was added with the recent update. It really helps a lot when grinding stages- in particular the Chaldea Gate dalies which I'm working on till the weekend to power up my new servants.

Edit: Now I rolled Sigurd but no Valkyrie...

Edit 2: I spent a few more SQ later and finally got my Valkyrie. It took me over 200 SQ to get both of them. I don't know if I'll have enough to get MHXX without spending money...

Edit 3: Ishtar (Rider) also hit bond level 7 and Emiya archer bond level 5. Have removed my Emiya and put another character in his place for now...

Edit 4: I forgot I got my first copy of the Black Grail today.

I remember way back years ago when I was supposed to graduate I went on a camping trip a few weeks before it and came home with pneumonia. Had to miss the last few weeks of school although thankfully I was well enough to go to graduation- although I was unable to do any of the recitals.

I was looking this up on pixiv and here are the tags for all of the relevant ships:

メアカタ- Katrina/Mary
マリカタ- Katrina/Maria
ソフィカタ- Katrina/Sophia

I guess that's another plus of the doppel system- the ability the live a relatively speaking normal life without having to worry about fighting monsters or becoming a monster themselves. I think that's why a lot of the Wings of Magius (Mifuyu included) joined the group.

Of course what would be better if there was a way to reverse the magical girl transformation and change back permanently into normal non-magical girl. In that way I suppose Homura's view (I hope I got this right) in Rebellion sort of made sense.

The thing I've been wondering about though is that most of the magical girls were not soldiers and have no combat training before they became magical girls yet they somehow know both how to fight using their weapons and don't crack under pressure like a real life teenager would likely do if they were put in similar circumstances...

Edit: Here's Ultimate Kako. Can any (magical) girl resist her harem powers?

Sorry, it seems like at times I barely remember what I ate for lunch the same day. I also haven't been keeping a close eye on the thread either...

@YarnGirl Apparently they can use some limited magic when untransformed like calling out her weapon by touching the soul gem... I think Kyoko did this in the original anime. But still most of their abilities are not usable when not transformed- otherwise why would they use cell phones instead of telepathy to communicate with each other? Also why would they bother transforming at all if they had full access to their powers regardless of transformation state?

Also compared to the Fate universe's servants magical girls are not that much above humans... ie. no running 400+ km/h, no lifting 2+ ton things, no noble phantasms like Ea or Excalibur... Also unlike servants (excluding pseudo or demi servants like Mash), magical girls still need to eat, sleep, go to the bathroom and other similar things.

Wait you're in high school BV? By the way you sounded on the site I had the mental image of some middle aged man...

All of those things are still things non-magical people could do given sufficient training and or exercise. Note I said normal not what an average Jane could do. Also from what I remember in the original series characters couldn't use magic- including magically enhancing their own abilities unless they are transformed. Also I don't remember either scene occurring in the game which likely means that's a non-canon ability.

@Veya Somehow I don't think magical girls are as invincible as you think they are. Other than location of their soul they are physically not much different that normal humans. They still grow old, can get diseases as shown by Mifuyu getting sick during Touka's side story, are not much faster or stronger than normal humans (in an untransformed state), still susceptible to injury...
