Nice assist! Though I feel it's kind of insensitive of her to assist director Shen's "rival", since she is in director Shen's team... While pitying director Jiang is fine and all, it's kind of terrible to make a difficult situation for director Shen even more difficult when she knows that they don't get along very well, as director Shen's subordinate.

I frankly can't see where this will go. As things are, they'll never be equals in their relationship, so I can only imagine them breaking up after like a year at most, should they start dating.
That or mc will become the trophy wife which I can't see as a happy ending.
But it's probably not the kind of manga that asks to actually question the plot.
