Never really thought about it before but it's pretty likely Takako is based visually on Kuga Jun.

It really is. All we can do is hope things get better.

Is it back???

It's just the reissue bonus story. But for now, yes, there's a little more Strawberry Shake coming.

Well I dropped this, because f. Yuri Hime frankly, but that was before the advent of Katakura Ako so the 'f. Yuri Hime' platform kind of blew up in the hangar. These two chapters were actually probably never going to be released, but I saw Thiaguinho-sama's comment in the other thread and decided to kick them out. (These do have some editing issues and can be considered MQ releases.) So if you're glad it's here you have Thiaguinho to thank. Anyway, I'll keep translating this, I guess.

I'll need an editor, though, and given the length and difficulty of this series it will have to be a dedicated one.

I'm saying that's poetry, friend. Another flawless translation for this series.

This is from Hirari Houkago 2.

By the way, I notice the second to last credits page that says justice for girls, is that from a manga? Anyone knows..?

"Justice for Girls" has been Yuri Hime's tagline since issue 22. The image is from Kazuaki and Fukami Makoto's cover-story series "Girls' Uprising", which ran from issues 22 to 27.

In this special issue of Hirari the majority of the works don't have yuri tag...

Fun fact - the Hirari Houkago volumes never actually claim to be yuri anthologies, just "100% all-girl school club" collections. It's the sort of thing you'll only notice if you're looking for it. The content in general does tend to be less romance-oriented, though with some typical Hirari stories also mixed in. And then there are some people who just say Yeah, okay, whatever.

This might be my favorite yuri one-shot if it weren't for the face on page 27. Yoshidamaru puts that face in all her stories for some reason.

There is a "sequel" to this in Houkago 2 that's not really a sequel at all. Honjou is in it, though. You can get scans and a translation here.

"Nowhere to Go" and its sequel, "In the Afternoon" were both licensed by DMG.

Just to follow up on this, these two stories are included in Konno's yaoi collection Sunday's Child, available digitally in English here. Since none of the promotional material mentions the inclusion of yuri stories, I'm not sure how anyone was expected to find them.

You don't really need to explain in any more detail than that she mixed up two schools with the same name for the joke to get across.

Well in this case they don't really have quite the same name, so I take it this is selling the character as an airhead. Without knowing context, I thought Cyfer's Senior High School/Academy was the best.

Are there chapter names for the first and third chapters? It's kinda weird to only have one for the second chapter.

Originally, the first chapter was titled Out of the Blue (in English). Except at that point it wasn't a chapter, it was just a one-shot called Out of the Blue. Then when a follow-up came out, it was titled Nigetai Shinyuu, which means "A best friend who wants to run away," slightly modified to what you see on here. Then a third chapter came out, titled Nigetai Shinyuu. Yes, that's the exact same title as the second chapter. But no, they weren't Parts 1 and 2 - it was two individual chapters both separately titled Nigetai Shinyuu. The catch being that in each case, the "best friend" was referring to a different person.

Now, officially, none of them have titles. They're just chapters 1, 2 and 3 of "I Love You" yori Aishiteru.

I really want to help with this manga because i love it, maybe some editing and typesetting because i have photoshop but i have no experience in either.

I'll email Phyis now, I'm sure she could use help with cleaning and typesetting at least. And, not to speak for her, but I'd imagine that might be true for all her series (I think she's doing 10), since, as Pekoe said, she hasn't had much time for editing manga lately.

Yuri Project could ~always~ use more people interested in editing, even if you have no experience. There will be people to guide you through the process so as long as you stick to it you'll be fine. It'd be a shame if people were willing to contribute but were deterred by the outward appearance, since once you've found the thread you need you're pretty much set.

I don't see why the translators went with 'savage' instead of 'ravage'

You know, I suspected you didn't know who I was.

I will say, I deliberately chose "savage" over the more clichéd "ravage" so I suppose it's cool that a debate has sprung up specifically about that.

I doubt she'd mean that she'd attack her as to wound/kill though

Like the way a wolf might attack and eat its prey, you're saying

Isn't it ravage?

No, if you look carefully the letter curls right around both ways. It's an S.

what is it that I really love

This is an actual mistake and we can hopefully correct that.

The series title I more or less invented for this is now obsolete, it is actually called "'I Love You' yori Aishiteru" ("I Love You More than 'I Love You'"). When this was reprinted by Yuri Hime it used only that title, the "Out of the Blue" title did not appear anywhere.

I still think mine's better, but do what you have to do.
