I have a lot of faith for XV, what's really been hurting public opinions on XV ever since it was confirmed that Nomura left is the way they've been handling information, a lot of important stuff were made available in the Active Time Reports but for quite some time they stayed Japan only, so the western audience would just look at some footage of the party running through the open world with literally not a single enemy but unable to listen that all the event flags and enemies had been removed because they just wanted to show the map, and also not many seemed to grasp that the demo is so work in progress that it's almost an Alpha, a lot of features is missing but that will be coming for the final game, so i witnessed a lot of people going like "What the hell Final Fantasy without magic!?" even though it's been revealed on occasions that they're working on other aspects of the combat while magic and aerial attacks will be implemented further down in the development and what-not, they really failed in conveying those informations to the western audience

Which is why i'm happy as hell that they've finally released the demo, that means the next trailers or informations will be more about the rest of the game and not confined in just Duscae Or at least i hope, i mean they're going to release a patch for the demo including new features so they're not quite done yet
Edit: Welp, finished the video and they did mention that some cool shit will go down at Gamescon, thankfully i'll be so much into DMC4:SE that august will come in a blink

Jesus Christ, took me three characters to clear the first dungeon in Daggerfall, a little too brutal for a tutorial stage

This bugs me more than DLC shitfests of the EA/Ubisoft kind because it's a direct strike against the community, there's a reason why the "mod community" has that word in it, if this sticks it'll become nothing more than a bazar, i think that top comment guy nailed it in this paragraph

I wouldn't go as far as saying he's weak, a little full of himself no doubt though
I mean yeah he got tricked like a dumbass by Arkham but he really only got fucked because he and Dante already tired themselves headbanging over an awesome track, by the time he got back Arkham didn't had much of a chance even with the power of the moth
Trying to fight Mundus was just a dumb idea really, dude's like what, 19 at that point? Dante wrecked the big guy in DMC1 but that was 20 years later
Anyway what i'm trying to say is that i would have a drink with the guy, but i wouldn't be his partner in scheming an evil plan

I don't know the status of the novels actually, the games never went out of their way to recognize them but i don't think they've contradicted them either

As for Vergil... His character arc is not the best, but as far as personalities go i like stock guys with a hidden hint of cockiness, MOTIVATED and all that, he reminds me a little of Shadow in Sonic Adventure 2, everyone is probably quick to label the edgy stamp on the guy but probably fails to notice that he's actually smirking almost the entire time in that game

Is there anything on Extend aside from Celica, Lambda and the new song for Terumi? If it were for me i'd wait until the last installment of the series to get into it but i got sold on Continuum Shift Extend thanks to the Calamity Trigger story mode and for being the last game with the original arrangement by Daisuke Ishiwatari but looking at Chronophantasma Extend it looks so lacking in new content, sure i'm missing a lot from the original CP but i guess those can wait until the next game that should be the last
