That is a fake anime chart. They're often created on /a/ for trolling purposes, by including many highly desired sequels or adaptations of series which are generally considered impossible.

I'd be upset if this got an anime over Girl Friends or the rest of Sasameki Koto. (Still surprised to see Sakura Trick air when those two seemed to be the best contenders, but I'm not complaining XD .)

My original doubts about the story are/were slowly starting to recede when Yuzu put a stop to Mei's first advance as it was getting terribly annoying. Not to mention Mei's little quip, "it's your first time right?" with that predatory smirk on pg.3. And now it seems like we'll get a nice big bag of angst to add to the already angsty pot. (That kiss in no way clears the air between the two. Probably added more to it since Mei just got over some things.)

Right now Mei needs a true best friend and not a sister in the sense Yuzu is thinking she needs to be. I think both are clearly going around it all wrong and Mei obviously has issues going on as well.

I thought it could be that the dad was upset about her being groomed to take over her grandfather's job as well as being engaged to that older teacher. Then after Yuzu gets the grandpa to the hospital and he hasn't returned, that letter showing up could be a result of the two older men talking and Mei's dad trying to, possibly, reconnect with his daughter. (Not to mention what Yuzu's mom might be telling him on the side.)

Wow, that was quite... all over the place. O_o

Aanyway, I hope that this is the last chapter with sexual assaults and that we'll actually (dare I say it) see some legitimate development of Yuzu and Mei's relationship!!? The conclusion comes after Yuzu realizing the Mei just needs a supportive family. I am speculating that Mei's father has issues with her following her grandfather's (possibly her dad's dad) orders. (Such as the one with her being engaged to that teacher maybe.) Thus, she was mostly following orders and being told what to do, thus she either lashes out randomly (as in kissing Yuzu early on) or acts like a hardcore sub. But I think she isn't being a hardcore sub anymore after meeting Yuzu and seeing how Yuzu's personality is, especially when she clashed with her rather strict grandfather.

In regards to Mei's collapse at the end, I think it's a mixture of overworking herself and the intense emotions that probably ran through her at the cemetery. It's clear Mei showed some maturity in realizing that she cannot run from her dad forever because she may have regrets after discovering that Yuzu never really had a chance to get to know her's.

Which leads to her dad and Yuzu's mom. Will we see Mei talk to the mom more often because there is an apparently obvious reason why Mei is with them? Or not, even though Yuzu's mom is very happy despite Mei's dad conveniently jetting off to the other side of the world.

As I understand there is a fourth chapter that TS was in the process of translating.

To the best of my knowledge, Horii Kisuke never released a fourth chapter for this series. Therefore the three TS chapters posted here represent the entire series as currently constituted.

Regrettably, since the last installment was released in 2009, it seems increasingly unlikely that there will ever be a continuation.

I understand where you are coming from Konetsu but I sort of disagree. The most frustrating aspect is their lack of clear communication with each other. I feel like one might partially stray some and cause unnecessary aaaaaaaaaangst for no reason at all that could have been clearly avoided. And I feel like Takeda is still ruining things imho.

This series reminded me a lot of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, in a lot of ways. It's really very good, I love the atmosphere. I just wish they'd kissed. The ending is explicit enough in my mind, it's definitely yuri, but I crave that final kiss. Wish it'd happened in YKK too, for that matter.

I never once got the impression that YKK had any sort of romantic stuff between the main girls afaik.

Maybe not so much from Alpha's point of view, but there's definitely feelings from Kokone's end. On top of that, Maruo is jealous of their relationship (at least in her eyes) so it's sort of a soft love triangle.

Girls' Ride though does come off as a bit more clearly yuri than YKK though, and it's very clear in the last two chapters that it's mutual.

True! I definitely agree about Kokone's end as a possibility. And Maruo, I think was more enamored with Alpha and jealous that Kokone got to spend so much time with her. I think for Maruo and Kokone, Alpha came across to them, from my point of view, as an enigma in that she clearly viewed herself as not really an android or whatever they were and was more "human-like" than they were.

And yeah Girl's Ride really did. I loved the character designs in it. I wish it were a little longer so we could see them start dating and all of that. (They all tend to skip those moments where you get to know the other in ways you would never have found out if you weren't dating them. All the little nuances.)

Just gave this a read. I have a friend who went through some serious bullying when he was younger, and through high school as well. Eventually some of those that bullied came back to him and asked him to forgive them for bullying him when he was younger, others my friend forgave them on his own. He had a bunch of anger issues after high school but overcame them to forgive, never forget but he definitely forgave some of them. I look forward to what's next.

I also have to say chapter 5 was really good.

I...like this, in a strange kind of way. At least I did when I saw the end of this manga. It was kinda sad up until then but the end made it for me

The story started really promising, even shows the sight of a masterpiece in the making. But chapter 4 got more yuri than God know how many years since, and this is unacceptable. I still remember that back in 2010, I was still defending its slow pace, but honestly what kind of torturing is this?

It's really too frustrated.

I personally love seeing the couples beyond the end of high school. I wouldn't mind seeing a full chapter of any couple (Girlfriends, Notes, etc.) post high school and more specifically, college. Most authors, it seems, figure the readers assume that the couple lives happily ever after when they graduate from high school. But sometimes I wouldn't mind seeing them as working adults; dealing with deadlines at work, paying bills, disagreeing on spending, living together comfortably, even chatting about things like politics, people they like/don't like, etc.

So... am I to believe we have a series not dedicated to characters in a school setting of any type??

I will be optimistic! Though the art is not really one that I like I've put up with it before and I can do so again. But, in the words of a man who wears a red coat, stands six feet tall, carries a big gun, and is the worst womanizer, "the weather is fair... and I have the guts."
