One thing that I think should make a come back is the promise Norae made to Seola in the classroom, which is that she wouldn't leave her, and Norae doesn't make promises easily. What she's doing now is the opposite of what she's promised though.

I'm pulling for this as well. :) I'm not sure how it would play out but, if anything could motivate No-rae to face her feelings, I think it would be a combination of: (a) Seeing firsthand how her behavior is hurting Seol-a (b) Realizing how much she means to Seol-a as a result (c) Being reminded of the promise they made together.

I think it's a "bad" thing...i.e. it's not going to pick up where it left off. :/ Probably like anonymous is saying, it's a "half" chapter. Of course, I'm only basing this off the smiley (^^;) because it usually implies something like worry and not the uber joy one might expect from an extra long/extra plot developed chapter. I would be delighted to be proven wrong though.

That being said, I don't think Samba has posted a special chapter in Comico...I think that special was on his/her blog (if I'm wrong, please correct me). That might be in favor of it being an "extra long/extra plot developed" chapter haha.

Ahh, you're probably right. I didn't notice there was a sweatdrop to that smiley until you mentioned it. I wonder why there would be a special now, since ssamba already did one for Chuseok. Unless there's another Korean holiday currently taking place that I'm not aware of.

Well, whatever the special turns out to be... I'm betting it'll involve flashbacks. haha.

Someone mentioned the flashbacks in No-rae's room were all related to the 'strangling' incident. I think, though, that that was just because those were the only moments where Seol-a was in her room. Those memories were dredged up, likely unwittingly, because of where she was at.

I'm still confused by the memories No-rae chose to reminisce over because Seol-a voiced, "I'll make sure he never touches you" when they were outside of the police station, rather than at her home. And she could have even thought about eating instant noodles with her or Seol-a cooking breakfast but, instead she dwells on Seol-a needing to use her restroom. XP

Thanks, I don't know if it's an accurate assessment but, I'm mostly drawing from personal experience since I've done far too many of the things No-rae is doing now upon reaching my own realization. ^^;

If No-rae were capable of acting like her normal self and masking her mood, I think she would. But, she appears to be past that point. Whenever she hears or sees Seol-a, even if it's something as small as receiving a text from her, it probably brings everything that she's feeling (and trying to avoid) to the forefront of her mind.

So she's essentially caught up in her own thoughts and running from her romantic feelings. And poor Seol-a gets pushed away as a result. ^^;

Ehh... can't be sure, but she might mean that it's one of those "non regular" chapters. You know, in other manga, it would be those chapters that typically have a ".5" number, like chapter 28.5 instead of 29. And they are usually a side story.

The only "special" chapter that has happened so far in FF is the Chuseok Special, which was between chapters 5 and 6.

Not sure what she meant.

I was wondering about this as well... I don't know whether to be excited or bummed if that means the next chapter won't continue where this one left off from. =/

I agree that No-rae reacting this way does make sense and seems in line with her personality. But, it still breaks my heart to watch it unfold. :( Depending on how long she continues to run away, though, I'm not sure she'll be able to escape Seol-a's growing frustration and explosive temper. haha.

This has got to be my absolute favorite chapter thus far.
No-rae put the pieces together and realized what her feelings are! I'm happy that she figured it out first. Since her heart is the heavily guarded one, I think it was necessary for her to acknowledge what she's feeling on her own terms. That alone is a big step for her. I also love how her lips parted in that second to last panel. I can just imagine her thinking something along the lines of, 'Oh god, I'm in love...' Which is followed by the ending text: "And once you've figured that out, it's already too late." XP

Oh, wow, I didn't expect to see my fan art here. Thank you for sharing it. It means a lot to me that it's being enjoyed by fellow FF fans. :) I normally search for fan art or read fan fics as a way of coping with the wait time between releases but, since I couldn't find any for FF, I decided to attempt making my own because I was desperate. haha.

Woo! I have no idea what they're saying but, I could cry tears of joy just seeing them together again. <3 Do I also spy a hint of jealousy on No-rae's part peeking through or is that simply my wishful thinking?

Initially, I found Ji-hwan to be a pretty likable guy. But, after 3 whole chapters of repeatedly seeing more of his face than Seol-a's, I'm starting to get annoyed. XP And it looks like he didn't tell Seol-a that he was rejected... sighs

I just read it now. That was a bit surprising considering his personality towards Seol-a and how he usually teases her instead of being straight forward. At least he did the right thing. But, I have to say despite Ji-hwan hearing a clear rejection and the situation being put out in the open, I don't feel any less on edge even with everything turning out better than I had expected it to. haha. Ssamba has a gift for maintaining the tension in a realistic manner.

Ohh, this chapter hit really close to home. ;_; Poor Seol-a... I desperately wanted to give her a hug, then I remembered I'm just as awkward as No-rae is so it probably wouldn't have happened. XP I love that ssamba didn't take the easy way out by quickly diffusing the situation. (She?) let the conversation play out with all of its nervous pauses and insecurity. No-rae properly summed it up with, 'This is hard...' It is, and that's what makes the raw emotions and stumbling over words completely relatable.

I also wanted to say a big thank you to halmoni and her scanlation team at /u/. Fluttering Feelings has become my favorite yuri story... ever. And I do not say that lightly. I would never have found FF nor been able to enjoy it without all of your efforts so thank you very much! ^^

Now I know why I should never write my own manga... XD Still, it was fun to give it a shot since I've never tried doing anything like this before. haha.
