This takes me back to a more innocent time when the worst thing the internet had to collectively worry about was book-length Fallout x MLP crossover fanfiction and not fucking Nazis all over the place

Honestly for a while now I've found it kind of hilarious how Rent-a-Girlfriend is the most popular romcom manga that nobody seems to actually like. I think the closest yuri equivalent is, maybe Citrus?

I feel like it's way more common in one-shots than multi-chapter works though

The fact is, shitposts are very ineffective at conveying intent. The guy saying slurs to be a funny edgelord, and the guy saying slurs because they're an actual card-carrying Klansman, don't appear any different once their words are on the page, and when they start reading each other's work, one invariably becomes the other. Create a space where someone can be racist to be funny, and you also create a space where someone can be racist to be racist.

What does Centurii-chan actually believe? I don't know. Is it worth not hosting their images here anymore? I don't know. But those are the waters they appear to be splashing in lately. Don't say nobody warned you.

There's also arguments to be made about Khyle and there's at least another artist whose name is slipping my mind that likes controversial "humor".

I can only speak for myself, but I've never really been offended by a Khyle image. If you aren't grossed out they're ultimately... kinda boring? Like if all you're ever going to make is "edgy" stuff, you don't actually have very many topics to pick from and they start repeating themselves.

Who's the girl on page 33 between Jun and Sayaka? I can't tell if she's supposed to be a new character or just a really off-model Ena.

edit: actually, I think it is Ena, just drawn more like how she was in chapters 4-5 than she was in chapter 14

This is probably going to sound like a weird pull, but Olivia right now reminds me a lot of Emilia at the beginning of the Devil is a Part-Timer. They both came from a stereotypical fantasy world to modern Japan and managed to pretty much land on their feet - figuring out quickly how the place works and arranging for necessities like jobs and food - but they came alone, and so they're not quite as well off emotionally as our other viewpoint characters, and they're a bit too prideful to admit it.
