Not really. The four panels we are shown of her before being left alone depicted her as extremely attached to her master, working hard to gain approval. Only after did she decide to go for power at any cost.

Her weakness obviously isn't lack of power, it's the entire "willingness to sacrifice people for her goals" and related sort of attitudes things; who'd ever have guessed that ... ^^

Seems really interesting, but I'm not feeling how much the deaf girl goes off on long-winded and pretentious speeches that no one in real life would just sit there and listen to. Even for someone speaking in japanese (which is a very structured language), all her dialogue so far is just weirdly long and unnaturally precise.

Hoping she gets less preachy and more authentic as the story goes.

To me it felt more like she has memorized a script to use in these kind of situations. Keeps people away so she wont have to deal with them.
