^Yeah, they care enough about each other to do anything and everything for each other, but aside from some fond back stories they have, the only remotely romantic sounding thing that's not too subtexty is Marcille declaring her reason to follow Laios to save Falin while they are all penniless by saying "Watashi mou Falin no koto dai suki da mono!" (translate how you will) in ch01/ep01. That's already more canon fuel than lots of other ships :))

I've been actually shipping Hatori and Hirose for no apparent reason, but I do not hate this idea either.

Well, amongst their group, Hatori alone seems to understand Hirose's plight even if Hirose herself hasn't figured it out, so there is good potential, at least.

^^^Well, yeah, I know, I follow that manga series quite closely since the release of ch20. But crackshipping is fun :))
^^Frieren even in the current manga arc is still pretty cold (heh), also she's being careful not to spill too much info and/or change the known past or the future, so she won't act out much, but I'm fairly sure the eventual parting will be quite emotional.
