That was the most by-the-books magical girl chapter so far, it was just a normal battle in which the good guys win normally including pervy-but-not-really-serious stuff in the bath afterwards. I guess Sulfur was fun, but I hope she doesn't get focus again, this isn't why I'm reading this.

The only interesting bit was showing that having La Veritas has a purpose.

Each time it's been an "i'm being truer to myself, and what that means" thing. Azul has the serious, icy shrine-maiden side but also a major masochist streak, so hers revolves around redirecting attacks and ice. Sulfur's always been an angry brawler, so of course hers is a yellow element (lightning) and takes the form of a wuxia/chinese martial arts fighter. It works, story wise, because every single one has been like that so far, and explains why Enorme would never evolve; she has too many delusions about the world and herself.

That's also why Baiser was scouted, probably; she has so much deep-seated things about her that conflict with 'normalcy' that she probably has so many things she could unlock....and in doing so, unlock potential in others.

We still haven’t seen enough of Sulfur and Magenta. What’s their deal? Azul is a complete masochist, but where do they end up? I feel like Sulphur’s being set up that she’s constantly looking for a fight and needs to tire herself out—maybe she’s a brat? And Magenta I just have no idea. It seems like it’s something different with her every time. But hopefully next chapter we get to see some of it!

Magenta reads as a full-on embarrassment/humiliation type. She keeps winding up in situations that are like that, and tries to deny it, but still reacts.

Baiser's such a sadist she gives Azul abandonment play. lol.

This one shot and the manhwa Program Me are the only two examples of healthy bdsm relationships for a wlw couple I’ve ever seen. I was kinda scared by the tags but I ended up enjoying it a lot.

read Sunstone.

GDI has the safeword started to infect JP BDSM too? a pox! a pox upon it!

Yes, seriously, i have major issues with the safeword in modern kink scene. i've literally heard "well, did they safeword?" in the same tone of voice and attitude as "well, what was she wearing?" in regards to rape. It has been used to change responsibility away from the dominant and onto the submissive for making sure a scene stays within limits. You know, the one who gets put through more stressors, and altered headspaces?

ugh is it so hard for sm manga to have a consensual relationship? At least define a fucking safeword...

safewords are fucking bullshit. They were created as a roleplay tool, so one could say "stop" and "no" without meaning it, and then grew too large and gained too much 'importance'. To the point that it gets used as a talisman by abusers. "Well, did she safeword?" i've heard from limit-breakers, in the same tone of voice as "What was she wearing?" in regards to rape. Give me clear communication any day, fuck the "safeword" bull shit at this point. It should not be called on the SUB to keep track of her limits like that, when being put into altered headspaces!

BTW, there technically WAS a 'safeword' in Chapter 4. it was "you can take off the collar any time, it is not mine to take it off of you". There. That's the "if you want it to stop, this is how to stop it".

the most frustrating part about the latest chapter was the loading times.

Kiwi: is head over heels for Utena, hangs out with her, try to go on dates with her, the two shares an 'if we survive this' oath, has had sex with her, is horny for aftercare. Comments: mehh

Sulfur: is mean towards kiwi. Comments: whoo ship!!

Azul: is horny for baiser bdsm. Comments: whoo ship!!

You guys are shipping the comedic parts, and i honestly dont think Utena can have a healthy relationship with anyone from tres magia

I don't think she could have with Kiwi either. Utena's whole character is about BDSM and breaking magical girls. I don't think Utena view Kiwi other than an annoying partner.

Utena isn't about breaking magical girls (we literally see her reject that with Azul) but about seeing them suffer. It's said repeatedly that she very much loves magical girls, in all forms, but it is a twisted form. Kiwi kinda forces herself on Utena, though; Utena only agrees to the hotel to motivate her.

Also, Azul and Baiser? JUST FUCK ALREADY.

i feel like this one is missing the whole cat=neko=submissive pun again. Like, clearly Reiko is the more dominant one, removing the doc's glasses and watching her body. And the doc is "um, how do you take off a kimono again?" meaning she doesn't lead much.

I have no personal experience with coolmic (maybe because they don't translate in Italian), are they that bad?

So far it's been readable. A bit stilted in some places and the way they split it up is really annoying (instead of following the actual chapters it's sold in 10 page 'episodes' but sometimes one of the pages of those episodes is the chapter page that says "episode 2" when you're on episode 4 according to coolmic) but it's like 50 cents for 10 pages so it's cheap.

Overall it's not fantastic but it's at least better than what seven seas did to Next Door Demon Girl

it's also only accessible on phones.

@Swag Wagon well, actually, Lena's more like a re-imagining of a previous character: MInima. Hence the "Aunt" title she used.

Rlly want bdsm where there is aftercare tho. A lot of intense bdsm but never enough on how it is after all of it :c

Nana to Kaoru is still the best in this regard.

Great stuff, but also don't buy sex toys from Amazon

this question is like a weird tickle in my brain, but why shouldn't we buy sex toys from Amazon?????

all i can think of is quality and sanitation issues.
