Nooooooo I wanted more slow burn constantly inching forward towards the inevitable teary confession and kiss scene and then an arc of having to keep it secret from Takuya only for him to find out and cause a huge misunderstanding that would be the climax of the arc as they desperately tried to clear it

I wish it would confirm their feelings for each other, but this was an amazing series. I’m glad it got such a good ending.

Frankly it’s something that actually happens. In a lot of countries families will force their children to marry certain people for the sake of continuing their bloodlines. Even if they already have someone they love. This is just that on a bigger scale.
