I don't remember if it is a series or a one-shot, but there is a popular girl who is interested in a girl who sticks by themselves. The two start getting closer when the popular girl finds out the loner girls has been going over to an older girl's apartment to watch her star projector. The popular girl joins her and develops a crush. They get together after the popular girl gets jealous because she thinks the loner girl has a crush on the older girl. The older girl is actually dating a different character though-their teacher or something of the sort. I read Ohsawa Yayoi's [Our Date that Night] and it reminded me of this.

I couldn't see this manga ending any other way. A solid tragedy I'd say. Gunjo had that tinge of happiness, like they would serve their sentence and be together afterwards. Here though, any kind of happy ending would feel disingenuous after everything.

Every time Liberta gets updated, I get reminded that this exists and have to reread it. I normally try to avoid severe drama, but there is something about this that just does it for me.

I love the art. All the girls look like they should be in elementary school though, so it's going to feel weird if there's any relationship growth with the guy at all.
