I actually don't mind the premise. I have fantasies which involve saving the world with the power of orgasms that are equally ludicrous, so not really in a position to throw stones. The execution was occasionally silly, though. Like when they're all trying to arrest Mirei so half the girls standing around her in a circle turn to their partners and start making out. I'm just saying a little foresight and planning could've helped there. Do the making out BEFORE you need the guns, so the guns are ready when you need 'em.

So I'm not the only one who found that to be illogical, but then I again why do I still try to apply logic to anime like this.

Does not help that some of the character designs reach for the Queen's Blade level of gross, but that obviously goes down to personal tastes.

The only one that I really didn't care for was Rain. Her boobs crossed some kind of threshhold for me, and I'm a man who likes big boobs.

I wouldn't go that far to lose friendships over disagreements. I mean some of my friends dislike gay marriage and strongly opposite its legalization. I hate that they like like that. I guess I'm deluded to think that I can change their minds. Most of the time we never bring it up and talk about so we focus on the thinks we all enjoy and have fun.

You should be able to search two tags at once. I understand you may already be able to do that with advance search, I could not get that to work, or it is unclear how to do it. Maybe make it more clear, or just put a place (after already in a tag) to add another. Example: I am in the Full Color tag, and I want to find something in full color with feet, there could be a button where you put another tag. Or something of the sort. Make it easier to narrow down the choices, or help find a mores pacific category of manga.

There is a way to limit a search for manga. Make sure that you have the advance search options and there should be a field marked "with tags". In that text field, start typing the tags you want. It should pop up with some suggestions, and you can click on them to add the tag or whatever to the search. To remove tags there is an x next to it that you can click. On the images page it's the same deal.

Hopefully that helps a little.

Why bother having more then one monitor ? Its like having 2 or 3 of the same book.

Having three monitors is a lot better than my set up. I have three set up on a desk. (School laptop, personal laptop, desktop/PC) Sometime I have to bounce back and forth. One has my engineering info and the other is for the software. Though, it is nice to have two back ups if my school one decides to lock me out.

It's not that bad, but that shit should still not be tolerated. And let's face it, this translation is pretty bad, right down to the title. I usually wouldn't say that about a translation group since I usually appreciate their work and all, but if they actually do make shitty comments like those (I wouldn't really be surprised considering the intro page), then I really have no guilt about saying this... Since I've read everyone's reply, I'll now answer my own question on how I got into Yuri. I heard about it for years, but I never really cared about it. Then its 2013 when anime really got popular where I lived. I had a lot of free time and decided to look into the thing called anime. I knew about yuri thinking that it was a terrible thing. (At that time I was very homophobic. It's a bit strange considering that my parents never really cared about that other that other than it was unnatural, etc.) I watched some of it and found out that yuri wasn't bad. Low and behold I'm here now sharing my hobby with great people like you. Most of the people in my personal life are religious and don't agree with gay marriage and the like, but I'm lucky because my two close friends don't care about those trivial things.

@Galich I read your post earlier today and I have to say, I'm happy that you came out and that you think this is your safe haven. I've come to understand that people aren't very excepting to new and different things, most of their hurtful actions are done out of ignorance. Luckily in more places people are starting to accept things. :)

Yes but you're missing one vital part of it: No matter how she explains it to them they never believe her and never even consider questioning Kyuubey who's known to be pretty forthcoming, even if he has a bad habit of telling half-truths and leaving out vital information at times. They're simply completely unwilling to actually consider what Homura tells them which is kinda the definition of being close-minded. And that's exactly why Homura gives up on trying to convince them of anything and why she ends up looking like the villain for the better part of the series. Rebellion even more explicitly proves this point when Homura thinks Bebe is the witch who made the labyrinth and Mami tries to stop her. The moment Homura says anything at all contrary to what Mami believes is true, Mami simply stops listening to what she has to say altogether despite the fact that in that reality they had been working together for quite awhile and thus she should know she can trust Homura even if it seems Homura is acting strangely. At least to the point of actually considering what Homura's saying.

@Alice It's been a while since I saw the movie, but I did find it strange that Mami trusted an alien before someone she knew and occasionally worked with. When I wrote my previous point about the mental age gap I was only thinking about the events in the series. I forgot about the movie. (It's kind of weird but my memory has been fading in and out, lately...)

Talking about Sasameki Koto, I didn't care for it. It was kind of forgettable and I almost dropped watching it.

Question: What was the thing that got you guys into Yuri?

She's also fairly consistently shown herself to have the best judgment out of them all as well. Though most of that really doesn't help when nobody ever listens to her at best and at worst gets most of the others to actively consider her an enemy because they're fairly close minded and hostile. The only one who ever refrains from outright disbelieving her and being hostile towards her is Madoka and even then Madoka tends to give into peer pressure and side with the others in the end rather than speaking her mind.

@Alice To be fair to all the other magical girls, Homura is the only one who has retained her memories and has mentally aged to around 26ish. (She's about 14ish + about 12 years from all the repeated cycles.) So that would make her 10 years old than Mami who's about 15 years old. That and Homura is kind of creepy and mysterious.
