This is pretty much one of two things that I believe defines NicoMaki; neither able to really spit it out. The other being a ton of teasing.

A shame it broke...

I think Nozomi is a bit dissapointed.

This is the kind of thing that makes me love the girls' birthdays. ^_^

Cute, but now I want an entire doujin that leads up to this scene.

I like how Nico keeps her twintails yet makes them look a bit more mature.

This reminds me more of the manga version of Eli, insofar as she was the one groping Nozomi when they met. And in some older original art depicted Maki grabbing Honoka. It all makes me wonder if the washi washi thing really was meant for Nozomi, or if it just kind of ended up being her trait when the anime came around.
Also, Nozomi cheerfully taking pictures made me laugh. ^_^

I kind of like the fact that this story could fit in no matter how one pairs off the group for shipping. Also, I like the take on Nozomi's motivations for behaving as she does, and I can relate to them. Lastly, teasing Nozomi is the best Nozomi, and while teasing Nico is my favorite Nico, I like stories that allow her to drop her guard and be the caring friennd she is capable of being.
