I honestly don't get what you mean by "too straight", I don't remember Harumin ever showing any interest in boys.

I'm sure this Yuzu x Harumin will happen. I think that Harumin will be Mei's hardest opponent in the whole story since, of course, she's the 'best friend.' And Saburouta already hinted this right? As I remember on chapter 12.5, Harumin and Matsuri had a talk and Matsuri asked her if she likes Yuzu, Harumin said no and she even cleared it by saying she does NOT have 'romantic interest' in Yuzu. Matsuri replied by saying Harumin's only trying to distance herself from conflict because she does not want to get hurt. Matsuri said that she and Harumin likes the same person, and added that 'it's female intuition' and on the same panel you can see Harumin having that lines on her cheek that you often see in a mangas and animes when someone's blushing (or maybe I'm just being exaggerated but it's there) anyway, Harumin did not said anything about that but responded by 'sigh' and saying 'whatever,' is this an indication she lost the argument and had no further thing left to say to deny it? And at the last panel, Matsuri said that she has found a crack in Harumin's shield. So I guess, the crack that she's referring to is Harumin's feelings for Yuzu that she's trying to suppress by dressing like gyaru and trying to look like a girl who does not swing in a different way?

Maybe Harumin is 'like that' but does not want to admit it because:
A) She's afraid of her sister (we all are, anyway)
B) She's afraid Yuzu might distance herself because she may not reciprocate it
C) Or worse, lose their friendship
D) She's afraid of what people might think of her

But then again, maybe I'm just exaggerating things after I saw that panel in chapter 18 where Yuzu's fan (what's her name again?) was imagining gay stuff and saying she's an avid supporter of "HaruYuzu."

Idk.

b) and c) are more likely to be the case here, either way that hint of Harumin possibly liking Yuzu was 6 chapters ago and nothing came out of it, I think Saburouta thought about going there but had a change of mind but who knows maybe it was actually a long term storyline plan and there will be something in the future.

Maki is quite interesting.

Asukaori is it worth watching AKB48 for the yuri in it. I have watched the anime but this tv show has 369 episodes. I just want to know should I go down this black hole of watching these episodes.

I'm not a fan of them tbh, I was just going through some of their yuri fanservice stuff so I really don't know if their show is worth watching but it does seem like they do a lot of fanservice there's even girls kissing each other in their PVs and for what I've seen the girls are always being lovey-dovey.

Me too haha. But I know Yuzu won't like her that way, so I just hope now Harumin doesn't get her feelings crashed in the future. It would be bad writing pulling another antagonist though, especially someone who has been a friend since the beggining. I was thinking that maybe Yuzu was infatuated with Mei because she's still young, but in the future she realises that Harumin was always better. But yeah, not a chance of that happening at all lol.

That would be more realistic tbh but this is a manga so I guess we can expect the pairing that was set up from the beginning to end up together.

Another thing that is a little too much imo, is the fact that a lot of people seem to fall head over heels for Mei just the second they see her. How possible would that be? Realistically speaking, Yuzu should have more fans or I'm just biased.
Maybe Mei represents that part of Japanese people. I think someone has mentioned this here before, how they work very hard and they don't show a lot of emotions. Mei's character makes more sense with this.

Maybe. I've always thought it was because of the tsundere/cold character appeal [?] at least it was that for me at the beginning but it got bored after a while but I always liked Yuzu better anyway.

I'm not worried about the threesome, I don't think the author would go there (or I hope she won't) I'm now worried about ending het I mean I like Hotaru but seems like she's very unpopular when compared to Takeda and that most people are rooting for him. Did Yuri Hime go for het ending before? Would they consider going for a het ending if the guy is more popular than the girl?

They like the boring guy more for a simple reason: he isnt a scumbag like everyone else in this manga.

Well yeah, I can't blame people for liking the only decent character of the manga, I just wanted to know if his popularity could be a problem for people who want yuri ending.

I actually kinda root for Harumin. I think she would treat Yuzu so much better. If I had to guess I would say Harumin will be the "last boss". Hopefully that happens.

Same here, kinda got tired of Yuzu x Mei around ch 14 I still like them but idk I just wish Yuzu x Harumin could happen in some way even if it was just for drama.

I will be happy if there's any Asuka x Kaori scenes, apparently they're closer in the novels and the anime underplayed that.
Edit: There will probably be more yuri subtext with Nozomi x Mizore than with Reina x Kumiko.

Yes. Yes it is. Um, how about ones where a random person is killed, and we don't really care since we don't know them? Like on Criminal Minds. Or Jaws. Like how on Another, it's sad that the people are killed, but we don't get too hung up on it because we don't really know them.

Give Danganronpa a try, it's one of my favorites anime and I don't think there's really much time to get attached to the characters, at least I didn't.

Yuma is oblivious to everything around her as already pointed out. She was ogling Hotaru in the bath, had an erotic dream about her and got jealous over Hotaru and Fujiwara but she never considered the possibility that she might actually like Hotaru nor what Hotaru's advances means? Oh right, that's because they're both girls so it doesn't mean anything! Ugh, she's quite frustrating. Fujiwara is a jerk. And Hotaru... While I can see why some people see her as manipulative, the devil and so on, I actually like her, I'd like to believe that there's more to her than just being the bad guy I'm not saying she's this multi-complex character or anything nor that she's an angel, far from that but I feel like I understand her actions or I try to, she fell for her best friend and she was probably scared of being rejected if she told Yuma that she had feelings for her so she got desperate and started the "practice" thing but she got herself in a mess because Yuma is an idiot and now she tries to compensate her one-sided (in her mind at least) feelings by staying in an abusive relationship. So yeah, Takeda is the only decent character in the mess. I just hope this doesn't have a het end.

Bleh. For a moment, I was like "Fuck yeah, Hotaru!" because Yuma is indeed being obnoxiously dense about this, to the point that it wouldn't be surprising if Hotaru had actually tried to be straightforward in the past and confessed properly but Yuma was just like "Yeah, I love you too! BFFs! You want to get married together? Aw, a double wedding sounds wonderful! Eh? What are you talking about, we have sleepovers all the time! I don't understand why you're getting upset, if you want to get in my pants that badly, you can totally borrow them, it's no problem! Hotaru? Why are you crying? Did the boy you like say something mean about you? Hotaru?"

Said character also appears in Hannibal (the book), where she's actually a bodybuilder. Also, Hannibal is the best series ever (but don't watch it for the gay, really).

I wouldn't say it's the best series ever but I agree, Hannibal is definitely a must watch. The art direction is outstanding imo.

I think Psycho-Pass and Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon were two animes worth watching yuri aside. The only problem with PP is that Shion/Yayoi moments can be counted on one hand.

Fanservice I think, it's the classic one-sided crush for the lols but it's hilarious, definitely worth watching.
