Man I love how the Mezashi puts Nico in the end of every comic. Mezashi's Nico is very caring when it comes to her friend's birthday. And the bday girl's reaction always embarrasses Nico. But it seems in this one it's Maki that did the reaction.

When I saw the author is Bocha and it's Maki x Rin, I knew I would fear of what people would think about it even after the whole shipping wars of this one author specifically.

But to me specifically about this one is that I love Maki x Rin when Rin seems to be the starter of the whole intimacy....even if she does overdone to poor Maki. But that's what I enjoy of this author's Maki x Rin pairing. Because you don't see much of Rin being the dominant one over Maki.
