Anyways, on a lighter note. @MacySan oh yeah, no doubt Seol-a is naturally flirty as heck. It's just that the scenarios I was thinking of were really silly ones that probably would push things into OOC-ville. idk, for example (a really dumb example because I tried to think of one on the spot) Seol-a purposely spills food on herself while over at No-rae's apartment, as an excuse to take off her shirt in front of No-rae (and show off her hot bod + specially-bought-for-this-reason bra). But while taking off her shirt, the spilled food ends up getting on her face in a decidedly not-sexy way that just ends up making No-rae lose her shit laughing... though once Seol-a leaves, No-rae has to go take a cold shower ;)

I could totally see the scenario in my head... especially No-rae lost her shit laughing yet had to take a shower afterwards hahahha

@cipp, you were the one who typeset Ssamba's 50 shades of Baek Seol-a, you should know better that you could have fun with your ideas too. There's no OOC-ville in "50 Shades" town *wink wink lol

I dont think so. Boxes/bars like that is what Ssamba usually uses to indicate time skip. A lot of times she just didnt complete all the borders, i think its her deliberate choice.

Yes I agree with Halmoni that we should keep it civil. Especially because Fluttering Feelings is such a pure-hearted manhwa, I really dont understand the hatred and trolling.
Til this point I really think its matter of personal preferences. The slow pace and K-drama tropes are definitely not for everyone. Ssamba has never sounded like she cared about impressing the readers or trying to write a masterpiece. She's all about the feelings. And if it doesnt go well with someone's standards, why just not wait for a few months and come back? I have other mangas I'm really interested in, but I usually waited after a few months or even a year to check up on them.

Yeah, it was always about Seol-a and never about the other guy because Seol-a was never in love.
This kinda brought me back to what happened with Yuji. It's true that Seol-a was so young and inexperienced so we can't compare here. But her pride still was too big that she could never approach and confront Yuji for what she said. In No-rae's case, it has been different on every aspect since the beginning, especially after No-rae already harshly cut ties with her at school. While Seol-a wasn't even aware of her romantic feelings, she already didn't even care about her pride and chased after No-rae without thinking much (no address? hello!).

Box: If perhaps I'm being selfish at this moment...

Box: I would never be able to forgive myself.

Reading this part really made me upset at No-rae. Seol-a already made obvious bold moves, and No-rae kept hiding her feelings away behind the cuteness of her blushes. It only made Seol-a more puzzled and started to misunderstand that she might be forcing herself on No-rae against her will

Sleep deprivation has been killing me, but somehow I just couldn’t fall back to sleep no matter how much I tried. So here I am ranting to you in words that I might not even understand myself. Please tolerate me T T

I LOVED everything in this chapter even without understanding most of the conversations. But I think we all got a gist of it thanks to cipp’s brief summary

1) Seol-a didn’t hang out even once with Min-jeong during break. That fact speaks for itself. Seol-a’s mind has been so occupied with No-rae it’s not even funny anymore. And she can’t talk about openly about it to her best friend. Imagine how hard and unbearable it is for someone with Seol-a’s personality.

2) Seeing other couple made Seol-a imagined herself being close and intimate with No-rae. The yearning of closeness with someone you’re in love with is the same for everyone. I just sympathize so much with Seol-a on this. It hurts when what you want dearly keeps swirling around in front of you but you can’t touch it. Gosh, the feel.

3) Seol-a recalled the memories of her past relationships and how she got intimate quite quickly with other men. I’m slightly bisexual so I can’t feel the frustration of seeing her with another man from other readers. But I understand where you’re coming from. And I think those incidents and the difference of how Seol-a acted then and now just made what she has for No-rae even more special in my opinion. Seol-a treasures No-rae, and both of them hesitate because they are afraid of damaging or ruining what they currently have.

1,2, and 3: Ssamba never explicitly talked about the unacceptance of homosexuality and the uneasiness of falling in love with the same gender, but the issue was always carefully and subtly portrayed through moments like this. And I appreciate it all the more. It makes it so much easier for an heterosexual to pick up this series and get drawn into the story because our love is the same, the fluttering feelings of falling in love with another human being were the same. At the same time the homophobia issue wasn’t being entirely ignored of swept under the rug. And thus it creates an understanding bridge for others connect with our LGBT community. I just think it’s wonderful of how Ssamba does it.

4) No-rae is getting drunk and our about-to-explode-any-moment Seol-a is entirely sober. Wow… why is no one FUCKING EXCITED about this like I am? haha.**

Next chapter No-rae will confess her feelings to Seol-A when she's drunk, and forget everything she said in the morning. Wishful thinking much haha.
