We don't really know, but the narrator is one of the two women and you can't see the het side couple without the two girl so we will still see them often.
And honestly I wouldn't mind the story being centered for while on the het side couple, they are likable and kinda cute together

Gah! Beat me too it. But agreed, I don't really mind the shift at all. It's such a fun and enjoyable series that you kinda want to see everyone else lol.

And I'm waiting for Pt.2 of the current strip.

Yep! I love this series, the S&M is properly done and realistic (unlike another unfortunately popular series), the characters are often really loveable and funny, and the art is fantastic, and best of all, it's yuri! :D

So, heard Sunstone is gonna go het with two side couples in later chapters or volumes. Can anybody tell me if the perspective shifts when the het is gonna start or are the two women still gonna be the center of the book?

If I remember correctly, there will be a heavier focus on Jennifer and Alan's relationship and maybe with the other, more established couple but the two mains will be apart of the story still. But the closing of the story will heavily shift back to our two favorite ladies.

So... I stepped back to take a look at the placement of L&P in regards to FoL and I wonder if L&P is when Takaoka is done with high school or something

L&P is primarily a flashback to the time when the boss (Takako) and Yui met. The parts in the "present" are two or three years after the main story, and Takaoka Mika is the one working at the cafe and hitting on Takako.

I'm not Nez (obviously) but I think we've got the same thing in mind (correct me if I'm wrong!). Subverting as in playing with common plotlines and clichés, giving them new twists or different perspectives, therefore defying the reader's expectations which makes a much more interesting story.

Ah okay, I had figured that is what Nez meant but was not sure. I went and reread the oneshot mentioned in their post but I didn't quite pick up on the subverting stuff.

Does anyone (uploaders by any chance) have some insight, did I miss the info drop earlier in the thread, or have we yet to find out due to L&P still being scanlated for us??

Some people seem to be really upset by Love and Piece. Also, the Fragments ending. Also, Amano's Feelings. Which I get—they're all difficult stories—but it has been profoundly irritating that certain people seem to believe that if something makes them upset, that something must therefore be poorly written (or bad in some other way). Of course, asking people not to transform their feelings into qualitative judgments is probably a fool's errand (especially on the internet), but I do wish people could at least keep their rage to the relevant threads.

The forums have definitely been blowing up lately lmao. I know, I think I may have lite a fuse or two here and there... (Mostly about Feelings I think.) I tend to excuse bad writing quite often but I guess I had high expectations for Feelings precisely because it was focused on older characters NOT in high school and one character annoyed me the most. I'll still finish reading it because it's still a lot better than others I've dropped partway through, thus far. But, YLF definitely needs to cool their jets, that was a bit much for no reason.

Also, this is Collectors, one of the better series on here (in my honest opinion). So maybe we should to try to refocus the convo away from the blowups in Fragments and Feelings no? (Just a suggestion :) )

I blame the lesbianhighschoolkyablushfaint and the lookatmyperfectbubbleofrealitylalala type of works. Not that there's anything wrong with them, but they make up the majority of this genre and that's what people have come to expect.

I actually really like when stuff like At the Bottom Of the Stairway To Adulthood subverts that stuff. Or that one of Jin's where they break up, but both get happy endings with other people.

Chapter 41 Didn't exactly begin how I imagined, was a bit disappointed that that sort of compliment wasn't picked up. It was obviously flirting. I blame Qi Fang.

Well they are going to a ramen shop so there is plenty of time for that line to be discussed in earnest when they are stuff their faces.

And x2 about Qi Fang and Sun Jing are just awesome together. And I feel so bad for their classmate lol! That guy is just so friggen huge! X-D

I know they were the first scanlator site I visited. Then there was Kawaii and Tranquil as well as another that sorta stopped and I think is now defunct... forgot their name. Then I discovered this place when it was scanlating Sasameki Koto. I would have never found them if it hadn't been for Lililicious.

AAAAAAnyways, I just went back and read all the .5 chapters. This series is criminally underrated. This is definitely one series I would totally buy if it gets an official translation. If not, I'll just print out the scans into booklet form.

Apparently, Mika did have her happy ending.
Takako mentions having someone Mika spoils a lot.

And Mika is just so blunt. Always liked that about her.

Wait, I'm almost positive that Takako was referring to the girl we all wanted Mika to end up with. I was SO sure that's who it was because, if you think about it, that's kinda exactly what Mika did the entire series when it came to her, especially when you remember that the girl is just a younger girl who does nothing but hang around her, despite the fact that she's not even Mika's type. If it's not clear I'm referring to the highschool girl that Mika rejected, aka that one other main character, but I'm just really bad at names lol. But yeah, in all seriousness, there is LITERALLY NO REASON, for Takemiya Jin to make that line so incredibly vague unless it's a character we already know. And, frankly, it doesn't even mean that they actually got together. Are you forgetting that the comparison is with Takako and Yui who are ALSO not a couple. Don't worry guys, nobody got their happy ending yet. Everything has remained the same........*cries in corner*

No it's not her at all (I'm one who didn't want her to end up with Mayu). I, and I think a number of others guess it's the mysterious woman at the end in the color page in ch.15, pg.21. I thought the whole premise of the story was to help Mika be able to love again for Mayu to be more accepting of who others love, and all that. I liked it because they didn't end up together.

As much as i'm lovin' and enjoying this manga i am starting to wonder when exactly is it going to get to the point? Be it yuri or not, an romance manga or not, it does currently feel like it's just turning over without actually doing much. Again, don't get me wrong, i'm loving getting to know these characters but when is something actually going to happen to them?

Stretch is not about what is happening to the characters, it's about what has happened to them. All the drama generated has been through flashbacks or relates to the past in one way or another. It's highly doubtful Ran or Keiko will face much drama in the present until they are at peace with their past.

In other words, I'm not particularly sure anything ever will happen to them!
