This is adorable. I generally try to avoid this specific combo of tags (Blushing School girl Yuri), but seeing the author's name made me give it a shot and I did not regret it.

These tags are kinda the vanilla ice cream of yuri. Never radical or unexpected, but it's still possible for it to taste really good if done well - plus it can blend nicely with other flavors.

I was going to do a snarky post about how their relationship will never last because it started with blackmail, but instead I’m just reminding everyone of the irony that this planet-sized ball of cotton-candy fluff started with the Blackmail tag.

It kind of felt like the author wasn't quite sure where they wanted to take the first half of this manga and tried a few different things to see what worked. But in the end the only idea with staying power turned out to be "more fluff." And I'm okay with that.

They don't really read like cops to me. More like the author started writing an otaku schoolgirl yuri but really enjoyed drawing the police hats.
