I know people find Shiho annoying (well her entire character arc is troublesome to go through) but idk I related to Shiho a lot and I understand her character but damn why'd they have to elongate her arc through so many chapters when I think it could be easily resolved in 2-3 chapters (if you cut out details and stuff).

Is this a Japan specific thing (or a lesbian thing that my lonely ass self isn't aware about xD)?

Or is she talking about how people in general wear matching rings on their left or right side according to whether or not they're married or engaged (with the side depending on culture, I believe)?
