I think Aoi is Yuu's mother, because Yuu (and particularly her sister) look very similar to Aoi.

That's just the artist's style that made everyone look similar. Guess she intended to build a shared-universe for her works but this one got axed before it could make a connection

Oh damn, Miss Sunflower’s going through Matsuri withdrawals and it’s showing. Also, not the biggest fan of Ayame basically being paired off with part-timer kun now, but we’ll see what happens.

There will be a chapter about his graduation. I'm guessing it will be about Ayame missing him (as she said she will feel a bit lonely) but it won't go beyond anything and leaves an open ending. I also don't like her being paired off with him, a het ship in an almost-all-girls manga feel like, I don't know, a betrayal :((

I believe someone said it's 13 total volumes? And even though this isn't broken up and they're all under volume 9 this section is now into volume 10. So if it's 13 total then 3 volumes wroth of chapters left so roughly 30ish chapters total would be left I think. I think it might be a few less would depend most volumes look to be 8 or 9 chapters.

the series has ended sine 2019 but it seems like vol 13 stll doesn't have an official release date. Anyone knows why?

God damn it! Today I finally binged all the past chapters and now I can only feel how regrettable I am for overlooking this masterpiece all this time. I actually found out about it 6 or 7 years ago but never interested in the slow pacing (and the fact that the update is irregular). Thanks the current team for doing this manga. I keep reading the new chapter as soon as I open the site

I find Japanese students are really weird. At this point it's a common thing for any foreigners watching anime, but it's hard to understand how can the students in a class never know literally everything in school, like their classmates name or like in this one, what other people are talking about you. In my country, even though we are not close, in class we still talk to each other or at least remember their name. It's ironic that anime protagonists always say they care about and will protect their friends and family, but not people who isn't close to them. Is it just fiction or it's a real thing in Japanese society?

Wait, did the series low key say that Anna (the granddaughter) was in a relationship with a woman? In the beginning she said she was moving in with another divorced mom and then in this last chapter Riri says her mom and the other mom fight a lot…

Thematically, not sure how that plays out? I’m all for more yuri, but I wonder if Anna’s relationship is also meant to be a mini foil to her grandmother’s relationship with Kiyoko?

Honestly this feels like the biggest betrayal to yuri genre which puts Kuzushiro lame girl who likes cute girls falls for main boy past manga to shame.
This title till it got axed end has ZERO actual girl x girl romance in it, and for that a person adds to it a yuri tag...
Maybe use a new "yuri joke" or "wishfull thinking" tag.
I know it's a lame joke manga which main purpose is to laugh from yuri fanboys but for it to have yuri tag which means girl x girl romance it should have such content in it to be present which we all know it has none, even in later part the so called girl the main boy ships in his delusion falls for him instead romantically.
It's just bad to cheat the readers who are baited with yuri tag here where the person who sets tag fully knows it doesn't have such content in it.

@Lewdholder Exactly! If only Itto's voice actor was Tomokazu Sugita it would be 10x better for this duo. Gintoki and Itto actually share a lot of similarities: laziness, white hair, childish personality, the oni status, etc. Why didn't Mihoyo think of that...
