The slang used in this translation is... really bad. It reads like it's both from the future and instantly dated at the same time. It's such an incoherent mess of different groups (2010's hipster tumblr girl? faux-black twitter? stereotypical Southerner? what I think is supposed to be... surfer dude and/or frat bro lingo? all in the same page! HOW!?) that it becomes insanely distracting.

I'm kind of boggling at the idea of these two being a crack pairing when I've read a fair amount of fanfic with them. Songwriter-composer is a pretty natural combination and there's lots of ways you could justify them making a connection.

Actually didn't know that Umi was a songwriter, almost all of what I know about LL comes from dynasty scans dot com. The pair definitely makes sense in that context, though, it just comes off as crack when depersonalized like this.

I like the way the artist not only chose a crack pairing but also one they don't seem to care about at all. This is peak yuri-as-commodity.
