Do actual kids even fathom the concept of a lover?
I don't think this is what a real kid's reaction is like, or am I just out of touch with how the new generation thinks?
Pretty sure they don't unless an adult literally exposes them to it. And if they do understand, most likely than not, they're reaction is 'eww gross'. Kids have more than enough attention that they wouldn't need a lover. The only reason people get lovers is to distract themselves from the stressors of adulting; teenagers because of hormones. At least, that's what I think.
People seriously underestimate kids. I myself used to, until I took a moment to remember what we ourselves were like back in the day. Even a slow bloomer like me was thinking about such things at that age, most kids I knew were already talking about sex-related things even earlier. And this in the 80's in an Estonia that was still under Soviet occupation and where there certainly was nothing like the rather easy access to such materials we have now.
While early 2000's elementary kids around my place already had access to porn, in all kinds of media like CDs, .3gp videos, or old Nokia's MMS messages.
And we're in a developing country where porn is prohibited by law.
Edit. Forgot 'bout why I even bothered to check the forum in the first place, that I was lurking to see people talk 'bout the ban in Germany, of all places.
Of course that topic would be drown by people talking 'bout little kids me included ahah
