can anyone recommend any yuri that have cliches like popular/unpopular or something like that but with actual romance? something like useless princesses but without all the drama whilst mc goes "what is this feeling" for like 88 volumes (tho its fine if it does have drama in it lol). other than that, perhaps some OL romance would be great too. thabks

However if you want an unpopular girl and a popular one with really good romance, I can't recommend Morinaga Milk enough https://dynasty-scans.com/authors/morinaga_milk. Most of the pairs of the artist's works have that kind of dynamic between them.
