Decided to write a short little review on this:
https://terrenceswiff.wordpress.com/2017/03/23/yuzumori-san/

It still kinda surprises me that this series is rather liked, I figured it'd be more controversial. I imagine it is to those who are less, eh, "open-minded" though. Anyway, it's a treat of a series isn't it?

Yeah, you can't really read this here, but meh. Wrote a review on it:
https://terrenceswiff.wordpress.com/2017/03/19/murcielago/

Basically, I like it although I was apprehensive about reading it. To be honest, most opinions I saw around the internet thought too highly of Kuroko or something like that. I find her likable and amusing, but can't ignore how awful she is. Neither can the series! That really makes it good. The fun action makes it great, though.

Weak but expected ending. Wonder if it would've been different were it not cancelled.

drpepperfan was right! Though now I'm mostly confused. The volume is not numbered or anything, but it doesn't contain all the chapters either. It ends at chapter 25. So...no clue what's up. The series at once seems like it's ending, and also doesn't because if you want to fill a second volume, you need many more chapters, and then there's the matter of this book not being numbered.

That's the update. An update confusing matters.

Cool, more from Comaku.

I'm worried about this premise, though. Smells a little like NTR.

Decided to read and review this, and then found out "Hey, it's canceled!" That's some shit.

Well, still here's my thoughts on the series: https://terrenceswiff.wordpress.com/2017/02/22/nanashi-no-asterism/

Looking around I've gotten the impression that opinions on this series are kind of all over the place. I can understand why. Anyway, I like Kotooka, although she can be rather terrible, and I'm hoping this doesn't end with "friendship the gay away".

The cover looks really nice. Dowman outdid himself.

reunited with her better half

Yep.

Seriously, I don't know why one and a half scenes with Kurumi makes people ignore that Miki has always had a much stronger connection with Yuki

Can someone explain to me what happened with ruu ? I didn't understand

Rii is still delusional but at the very least managed to let go of her mental crutch for now ("Something to protect" (this used to be Yuki)), She hands it off to Shino because she respects the woman. Presumably Rii will be less of a liability from now on.

Thanks! That's good to hear. And, seeing what was posted about the physical version, I may try getting my hands on it as well. I'd like to see that obi, for instance.

I'll be shocked if that's the case. 6 years just to get ONE volume, and Dowman hardly ever keeps a series going long (he rarely keeps series going at all). And, in Megastore Alpha they just say that Oddman 11 is finally getting a tankoubon release, not a volume 1 (in magazines, at least, they'll tend to be more upfront). It certainly wouldn't be the first somewhat sudden end to one of his manga, though.

Oh wait, there are still more chapters to this? How many, if you don't mind me asking? Also, is it like a proper ending or does it just leave off on a cliffhanger or something?

There are 7 more chapters in the tankoubon, however after 4 of those there's a new story (same setting, different characters) that finishes the series with 3 chapters. My Japanese ain't good enough for this series, but it at least doesn't look like a cliffhanger. From what I could see I was pretty satisfied.

I really love the vibe of this thing so I ended up buying the tank on a whim. Offer for the raws is still open if anyone's interested; they're BIG too. Actually, I'll just toss up a link for the heck of it:

Whoa, unless my eyes deceive me it looks like Oddman 11 is getting a tankoubon near the end of February (costs about 10 bucks):
https://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%82%AA%E3%83%83%E3%83%89%E3%83%9E%E3%83%B311-%E3%83%A1%E3%82%AC%E3%82%B9%E3%83%88%E3%82%A2%E3%82%B3%E3%83%9F%E3%83%83%E3%82%AF%E3%82%B9-%E9%81%93%E6%BA%80-%E6%99%B4%E6%98%8E/dp/4864369984

So...if that's the case, you think that means it's going to end? It's not labeled "volume 1", just Oddman 11. I always figured whenever it DID get a tankoubon, that would be the signal that it was over. It's been running for years only to have a teeny tiny amount of very small chapters after all.

But...we're still missing two oddmen, aren't we? Even if you want to count Setsu, one is missing. Two more chapters have come out since the last was translated. Here they are, 28 and 29:
http://www100.zippyshare.com/v/TqSoVMYR/file.html

(EDIT: Updated chapter 29 with a much higher resolution and quality version)

To summarize: Ika meets with Setsu on the roof and says she wants to marry her because Setsu's surname is Sakamata which is another word for orca in Japanese and the orca is the king of the Sea that every sea creature aspires to (I quote, "the ocean's Taylor Swift") so she wants the surname for herself. Yes, really. Setsu agrees immediately without even hearing this reasoning, she just says yes, possibly because she's afraid Ika will crush her with her tentacles if she doesn't agree (though her fast responses just make Ika suspicious). Anyway, Setsu is 15 so she can't get married for another year; since this isn't urgent Ika will wait until she's 16 for a proper answer.

Setsu finally realizes that she's become a harem protagonist at some point (she says she's suddenly entered "moteki", which is a word for period of great luck in romance during your youth) so she decides now's the time to confess to Itami. She finds SISTER Itami, though, who promptly whoops her ass. Literally. She spanks Setsu's bare butt very very hard and just enjoys that for a while. It looks like it really hurts. Eventually BROTHER Itami shows up and subs in for the beating before the Sadist can fist Setsu's butt up to her elbow as punishment for backtalk (she only brings her fingers to the entrance before being stopped; again, yes really). Setsu's harem helps her recover afterward, explaining this is basically an "Itami (sister) baptism" that everyone received before becoming Itami's (brother) boyfriend. Kirara got anal fisted up to Itami's (sister's) wrist! They all want to rub lotion on Setsu sore butt and Fujou wants to use her mouth to apply the lotion. Ha ha, what the hell

The series could definitely end next month with the release of the tankoubon, but yeah, we're still missing oddmen.

Pretty much full ack. Maybe it could have been better if they had stuck to the road movie part after they had to leave the school. Radio station onee-san seemed a nice possible addition.

Maaan, this is what I've been saying for so long! I would've LOVED that. Just vaguely sad stories and a sense of impermanence now that they were away from school. You could've gotten 2-3 good volumes with that.

Blasphemy!!

Fight me! They have WAY more development than THAT OTHER pairing! They really do! LOOK AT IT

Anyway, thank you!

I'm not near as into this series as I used to be, but I totally loved it for the first part of the series. So, I wrote a review on it:

https://terrenceswiff.wordpress.com/2017/01/07/gakkou-gurashi/

The first part of the series has a LOT of good to it.

By the way, I'm a Yuki/Miki fan

I don't really believe Amane when she says she loves people, since she says it very, VERY easily. Like, she interacts with two girls in this series for a brief period of time and says she loves them. That CAN happen...not often. Well, guess I'll wait and see.

Definitely getting the vibe that Shinya is Nina.

No doubt in my mind about this.

copypastin' from some old thread I bumped...

I wrote a review for Blue Friend/Blue Friend 2nd Season, since 2nd Season is one of my favorite mangos. As you can see in this thread, Blue Friend is not actually hosted here due to the wishes of the scanlator, but mercifully you can still fairly easily find the entire thing in English.

It is my opinion that the 2nd Season (volume 3) of this manga is quite a lot better than the first (volumes 1 and 2). They're completely different stories, and the 2nd Season story is pretty lighthearted and nice while also examining some interesting culture things. The first story is quite dark, however, and fairly depressing, but it's admirable how bold it is.

I go over this more in the review I wrote, which I'll post now:

I think it's a better idea to necro bump this rather than make something new...

I figured making a thread that started with a review of mine would be in poor taste. Poorer taste than bumping a three year old thread.

Ah right, I remember seeing this. Food play AIN'T MY THING, but sure, that was "cute" in a way.

So glad I checked dynasty before going to sleep. This is a gem of a series

Also!

I have given this manga a proper review!

I'd honestly say it doesn't really feel too deserved, or that the development felt unnatural. Frankly, I was expecting no 100% romantic development by the end and was a bit disappointed. I thought the nonromantic, platonic angle that all the characters shared was more interesting, and in the first place I ended up reading it for its motivational aspects rather than any potential romance.

But man, Quake. He really IS a Westaboo. An American in taste, lost in Japan. Also, I think that omake page killed me more than the actual chapter.

Though this series hasn't seen the light of Dynasty since last year, well, I reviewed it
https://terrenceswiff.wordpress.com/2016/12/13/tsurezure-children/

Indeed this is a heterosexual romance series with comedy and subversive elements but DID YOU KNOW? As of the latest chapters it's been hinting at just a little bit of yuri.

A page that smells like lilies: http://imgur.com/a/av7BP

That said that's pretty much all there is to it, though I'll admit it piqued my interest. Still, this is a series about boys and girls, not girls and girls. A really good one, though.
