I just wonder why fans didn't ask if they drew the characters based on SNSD's girls. Because that was a hot topic that readers discussed a lot before.

I am quite sure it was asked by one of the reader, but perhaps Lezhin just take safe route and shy away from confirming it outright in case there will be copyright issue with SNSD's image being used and their management. But yeah, Lezhin has posted sth about the similarities between Taeyeon and Sumin, so XD

What hurts my heart is that (at least, this is how I interpreted it) Sumin responds negatively when asked if "there's someone who'd hold an empty shell like you," and that someone was, I believe, Sungji.

Interesting. Because I am very sure that at that panel she's not referring to Sungji at all. This chapter is quite fascinating because it proved to be so ambiguous that it delivers different idea to the reader.

I am still bitter until now that Team Gaji under developed Sungji's character in the story that she seems kinda out of place now. I feel like her development was a lot better in the beginning. Because past that point it was just her going on dates with Sumin and their push & pull to have sex. There are sweet and the sex looks hot, but I feel like many of it are just fillers and shallow, because it brings little to both development.

At the very end, when Sumin was sleping with Seju, was that at the present or in the past? They had white borders at the background which I thought was during the present, but this chapter was all over the place so idk what happened.

Mostly the past, it all mostly conversation from the past, and not all scenes are actually there, it's like those people voices swimming inside Sumin's head and she visualize who said that. Sumin's getting high right now. Seju's dialogue is also the past, but Sumin confirming her feeling is the present.

And second, yes she did it for selfish reasons too. Two birds with one stone.

Yes, but since she chose to tell redhead's husband, it has turned to be "Two birds with one stone + the stone fell down hitting her own head." XD

LOL, I laughed a little too hard at this XDD

For me, I think that was referring to readhead. She meant the lawyer was wrong because readhead could accept her.

I was thinking that exact same thing at first too, wrong referring to redhead (she accepts Sumin), and different referring to Seju. But yeah, the more I read into it, the more ambiguous it is.

"It doesn't matter if you are an empty shell Sumin"
"It's different"
"What's different?"

I'm also still confused with this dialogue. It's not clear what's different.

For me she's referring to Seju. She was asked: There's someone like this ? Someone who would hold an empty person like her ? And Sumin said she's wrong, and said it's different, and the scene goes directly to Seju. This might indicate that they're wrong for thinking she's just an empty shell. She's still in love with Seju, and that's different with an empty shell, because she feel feels.

She's just keeping every girl at arms length, always looking like she's not meaning any relationship with them, and frequently dozing off while comparing them to Seju. Hence her ex thinking she's just an empty shell who does not able to feel love, when in reality she's just filling up Seju's gap, which unfortunately by using those ex-ess.

You didn't miss it. I just went a bit further to a conclusion. :D

Lol you caught me off guard there, because I almost scolded myself for possibly missing out sth important XD

Why did Sunin show such depreration and even asked if readhead could fix it, breaking up with her fiance or some sort.

I don't remember reading Sumin asking the redhead to break up with her fiance, or do I possibly miss something in the story ? O_O
And my best guess about Seju's father docs is that it's sth related to her mother, it's a very wild guess tho.

Martian
Agree. There are already several foreshadowing to that, hard to ignore that it meant nothing to the story. Maybe Seju will not die, but she might be trying to commit suicide and fail, that's also possible if Team Gaji do not want to pull the trigger.

Sumin is way too emotionally unstable, it's hard to tell which one she loves most and the route she's gonna take. For all we know from her past behaviour, I see everything might be possible, considering how confused and unsure Sumin is about herself.

It's also interesting to me that in the past 5 chapters she admits to love 2 different woman. Nami brings out the fact to her and she confirms her feelings about Seju. The way she's going directly to Seju's apt, lashing out to her right away, while ignoring Sungji at the same time when they're supposedly in their honeymoon phase, leaves me a very strong impression that Sumin never truly moved on from Seju. Everything is only a layer, especially when she's still freaking out when being confronted about the possibility of Seju leaving her side.

All in all, I just find it very sad that Sumin is sleeping with so many woman for filling up the gap that Seju leaves, hence the comparison to her. I always feel like both of them won't be so broken if the mole guy never come into the picture.

I also keep dreading the possibility that Seju might kill herself sometime soon. If that's the route, Sumin got more broken but then possibly finally moved on (bcs Seju is no more in the picture) and Sungji is there to heal Sumin throughout the last arc. I mean, Seju's family is very funky right now and her mother possibly coming back from "death" also. Seju's already being mentioned to be having the possibility to suicide bcs of family problem, and I feel like this time around it will be much more likely than ever....

Sorry for the gloomy long post guys, I am a skeptical person by nature XD

That line in particular makes my blood boil. And is your okay after that bitch slap? xD

Ofc, it's a weak bitch slap after all, just did it because I have to, poor my weak phone tho XD

Faylicia
You're getting one step closer to be a Team Pink lol, because you're starting to emphatize with Seju, at least that's the first stage that I experienced before I become a Pink ranger lol.

I share a complete agreement with you, I also hope that Team Gaji won't suddenly turn this mess into a healing story, without proper story telling.

And thank you Newp for the trans! <3

Seriously, Sumin keeps draining my patience little by little. Her character in the latest chapter is just so selfish and childish, I can't comprehend or emphatize anymore. Like girl, you don't deserve to say those things to your ex when you sleep around and then crawl back to her whenever it's convenient, yet still think that no one can touch Seju, smh.

I used to say that Sumin treats Seju like an used towel and takes her for granted, but this chapter takes it to a whole new nevel. I especially lost it when Sumin said that all Seju did is disappoint her all the time, I was like wth girl are u drunk ?

Btw, I bitch slap Sumin on my phone screen to relieve my frustration, and it felt great XD

Lol wth, Sumin sleeps with almost every woman in the Manhwa, except Sungji's colleague haha (the girl with glasses).

How's this supposed to be a healing story btw ? At this point it's getting everywhere but healing lol. But seeing Sumin's reaction inflates my hopes up for Seju, tho I don't really want to have any expectation because it's Seju lol Team Gaji likes to torture her

It's still kind of unsettling to me that all of the other characters are messed up and have complex relationship with each other, yet Sungji who's supposed to be the main and probably supposed to play a pivotal role in the "healing" theme of the story is still left out in the dark.

Try downloading the app and see if that works. I use the app and I never have had any problems with it before. Purchasing coins is also very simple especially if you have your cc information saved on your google play account :) good luck!!

Just tried downloading the app, it keeps displaying the exact same message as on the mobile web, the age verification still blocks me to buy it. I'll try to access it on desktop, even tho it'll be next week.... :'| ;_;
Thanks for the tip tho. And I guess I shouldn't bother you no more since I am very sure that people are rreeeeallly looking forward for ur trans, and here I'm just wasting Newp precious time lol. Sorry everyone XD

? Thats odd. So youre using the mobile app for lezhin?
Have you tried purchasing the chapter on your computer instead?

Yes, odd indeed. It's my first time encountering this problem, idk what happened. I don't use mobile app, I just access Lezhin web by mobile (usually that works just fine).
Haven't tried accessing it by computer tho, as I'm currently travelling out of country for a week (and I don't bring my laptop). Sigh, of all times there's a problem on Lezhin, the timing has to be now...

Guys are there any of you who have trouble accessing wdtfs latest chapter ? I was going to buy it from phone just like usual, I thought at first I run out of coins, but I tried Google translate and it turned out that it redirected me to age verification (have to provide i-pin, or mobile verification)

Idk what went wrong this time, but I can't seem to proceed to buy the latest chapter, ugh. I-pin seems to be Korean only, and the mobile verification is very complex. Can somebody advise or help me please with the age verification thingy ? Thanks.

Oh, well. It took me 10 mins to find out who you guys are referring to. And another 5 mins to confirm my hunch is right, lol. Hahaha.

I actually really enjoy being in this forum because most of you guys are cool and level-headed to keep the discussion healthy, and confronting each other opinion without the need to attack the person.

I wish I could remember specific chapters where you could really see the difference because I know there are some but I keep getting confused between the Korean chapters and the English chapters lol

Chapter 4 was the first that really stood out to me. Whatever translation I saw for that before was definitely off. Seemed weird for Seju to say she'd sleep with a high schooler when she was actually saying Sumin has slept with one.

Wew I learn a new thing from you, that Sumin slept with a highschooler. You guys now makes me want to buy the entire eng trans, ah screw money and my conscience lol.

Thanks a lot for the tip :)

I guess I'll try to buy few of the official english trans first and compare to see how it goes.

Btw guys, if there's any of you who buy the official english version as well, is it worth it (I mean whether the translation is good or etc.) ? Bcs so far I've only bought the Korean raw, and I saw a few different translation for Ch. 1-30, and some have different context/meaning with another, so I always feel like I might be missing out a certain nuance.

Tried reaching out to Halmeoni before about a few months ago (as she seems to be referred as the best trans), managed to contact her through tumblr, but my email has not been replied. She seemed kind of busy and I am the type that did not want to come out as a bother for someone that does sth voluntarily, so yeah...I just let it go.

So, can someone please advise me whether the official trans is good or worth the buy ? bcs spending money on the same comics but different language kinda ticks my frugal behaviour lol Thanks in advance!

Thank youuuu Newp for the translation, u're the freaking best!

I have mixed feelings about the last chapter development. If Seju is going to sleep with Nami, I don't think it provides any true development on her side. The thing is Seju is always passive and never really going directly to Sumin, just like how she's indirectly "possibly" sabotage Sumin's relationship with the red head.

If she's indeed going to sleep with Nami, she's looking for another way to shake Sumin's relationship, and it makes more sense now because Sungji is innocent and not two-timer, which provides her little room to play a part in their relationship.

So reading the last chapter kinda gives me more reason to believe that Seju does not and never want to move on, ever. She never want to confront Sumin directly because there'll be possibility that they might have closure and end for good. So Seju stands for the 2nd best option, just like her line before "...being in a relationship where we don't need to break up. Use each other etc..."

It might be creepy and quite possesive by nature, but in everything she's still mysterious as hell, she's the character that people would make continuous guess on. we see her naked a lot of times, yet her personality is all wrapped up, I feel kind of cheated lol

Oh how I love her character and appearance sfm.

Lol I've seen this elsewhere but why do people call Sungji a cinnamon roll? ... Because she's sweet and I would devour her in a one sitting?

Lol idk either, but she just fits the image of cinnamon roll that's good and pure. Anyway while we're at it, what would be a cake equivalent to Seju ? It should be a cake that taste like sin lol, bcs Seju is that irresistible and you can't get enough of it even tho it might be bad for you :>

Had a quick look on the latest chapter again, completely wild guess, but would it be possible that Nami befriended Sumin because of Seju ?
Bcs I remember on a chapter in the past that Nami said to Sungji she only knew Sumin at first as someone who's always close with Seju. It's a very wild guess, pls excuse me lol, I just want to say it.

There's a part in the last chapter where Seju's face turned a bit psychotic, it gives bad vibes. It seems at this point Seju has become completely idgaf about her life.

And SejuxNami in the latest chapter kinda gives me an impression of SnakexSnake pairing lololol. Seju's still so hot and beautiful tho ;_;
But now I need a new dose of our cinnamon roll to cleanse the current somber feelings.

Is soft pink considered also ? Seju's persona is kinda subtle and her hair is pretty much that color. But deep pink or ugly purple just like the colors above are also kind of suitable since PinkxBlack relationship looks pretty bleak anyway lol

Well, you don't have to be in a couple/girlfriend/boyfriend relationship to take someone for granted. Afaik, it's not even a term that's exclusive to couple only. Anyway, I should sleep haha, my brain power is diminishing greatly already xd

Of course when you take something for granted, it's always consensual. Other than that, it's called stealing.

And I actually never said Sumin exploiting Seju, I only said she takes Seju for granted, and Seju is willing to be exploited. There's a difference in the way I paraphrase it. So I'll just leave it at that I guess.
