but thats the thing with these kinda relationships and i dont mean teacher students entirely. not only is it teacher x student its 2 girls. it makes things twice as difficult and it seems she has to keep saying shes serious about being with another woman. remember japan see's teen lesbians has just a faze. just my opinion

I don't think it's exclusive to japan. This is a common way of thinking mostly in asian countries where lesbian and gays are still not that accepted by the society since it is possible that feelings could be just a faze when you are a teenager. cuz it is a stage where one would be curious of new things especially about love. It is also a stage where one could easily be affected by the opinions of people all around them that might lead to hesitation and become confuse of ones own feelings and deny it altogether. This is the reason why the teacher used the excuse of her feelings only being a faze not only because of their status(teacher and student) but also because she is a girl too and she worry about her well being.

^the confession of love thing really did happen in the anime and both girl said it(though not on the same episode) not really a trolling of the translator. the scene is so sweet that you could really see the yuri in it and the way they act to each other was beyond "friendship" through out the anime episodes but they never officially dated on the anime. so yeah cries in the corner while cursing KyoAni

I think the girl is slowly liking the senpai and just oblivious at her own feelings cuz she was sure she wanted to reject the guy that confess to her but she allowed senpai to near her and didn't react at all to her kiss and of course didn't reject her at all. I guess she would realize her feelings once she felt jealousy

Couldn't they solve that by simply taking a spare change of cloths to school with them, so they don't have to go back home to change and won't be advertising the school when they do whatever?

Would be much of a bother to bring clothes everyday with you just so you can change at school. Plus, the advertisement part work both way.Having kids walking home wearing their uniform on is good publicity for the school.

And frankly, it's not that strict either. Most of the time, as long as they don't get caught by a teacher that would actually care about it, students might still go out after school right away and never get bothered about it. They won't expel a student just because he went to mr Donuts after school.

oh I see but I don't think the problem was only wearing the uniform after school hours. Japan school teachers like to get involve in their students business like they monitor what they would do after high school if they would work or continue studying for university. It is also about the school wanting the students to focus only to their studies since if you have time to go for part time then you should use that extra time to study or something like that that is why some school prohibit part time jobs. Other reason for it is because senior high school is not mandatory in japan and a student with part time job would know the feeling of earning money in a young age and just might drop school and focus on their job... I'm not sure if this actually happen but it is possible. I think the probability that a teacher will caught you is lower than a schoolmate will see you working. If a student tell the teacher you have a part time job you will be punish even if you are not wearing your uniform but caught in the middle of your part time job. I think that was the small girl was worried about and its a good thing no one recognize her cuz a lot of her schoolmate went to their event.

Expecting something like embarrassment and misunderstandings for 30 chapters, not being able to convey one's feelings and "what do i do she doesn't like me!!!" stuff. And of course a kiss in 31 chapter. Spoilers, spoilers.

To be honest I'd rather have that than a retread of Secret Recipe.

yeah. I'm rather disappointed of Secret Recipe and its main characters relationship progress. they couldn't actually confess and be lovey dovey until the last chapter were they are finally lovers and they show little sweet moments between the two :(
