I wasn't quite ready to see them just as normal cats, will we be ever back to the loli-mode aka the way Minako seess them? It's just not as weird when they're depicted as girls, and also it was kinda unsettling to see her being surrounded by totally shocked pedestrians.
Also, she just confirmed zero need of marriage or anything because of being nekosexual (?)

Good God, I'm glad this one continues to be scanlated, based /AK/anons. I got hooked on Kurogane back in 2010, because I love ships and, erm, shipping.

Dem food metaphors for Madoka and Homura's story...these pages were gold. And the inucurry-styled cover. And yeah, the assertive MadoKami. I recall seeing one more MadoHomu book from this author, except with Moemura all along.

  • does she know how to play chess?
  • just Googled the rules on my phone. Spent all the damn battery.

Totally glorious. Also, this was probably the most violent chess match in history.

More than Nausicaa, I even got some ABE Yoshitoshi (?) feel from this one, ch 9 felt a little bit more sci-fi'ish than the rest. Also, that robot wasn't a dream kek. (I'd like me one, too)

I am not particularly aware of Chinese history, but class 5-3's 'empirehood' makes me think that Hua's story is an allegory of some major stages of China's historical development, especially after Ming's memory where he gets told not to hope for well-being while in separate countries. I thought that 5-3's separation now is going to motivate the whole 'country's people' to struggle for unity which they, well, definitely settled for and are willing now to overcome every which obstacle (foreign governments) in the way of nation's reunion. Oh and young people like Hua, Hong, Ming and the others represent a new generation which will grow up in willingness to bring a country's reneissance.

Well, the apple in the end made me remember something. At first I was only paralleling Murasakiiro no qualia with Urobuchiverse, but now Ikuharaverse is kicking in - I thought Penguindrum when they showed that apple. The three girls ended up sharing their fruit of destiny, especially sharing Manabu fruit with Yukari resulted in finally affecting her destiny. But then again Madoka themes return with Buddhist analogies and also the mechanism of love giving abilities to its object. I think both of the famous scriptwriters could very well have been familiar with this manga, or it's just the same ideas flying in the noumen that had been picked by different minds, who knows?

I cheered

Is this Nez magic of some sort?

Sisya, where'd you get this emoticon? Also, agreed on Lulu. I volunteer to give her some love, including the spanking

Bearsona? Well now it all seems much clearer as to how Yuriika managed to become the leader of oppressors, being a bear herself, she's just wearing a mask. Calling it a box at the same time.
Also, I always knew that judge loved Freudian psychoanalysis given his name))

... Am I the only one who preferred her old look?

Well, I agree that she wasn't really plain - in fact, even absolutely moe at times, it's just seems to be impossible to draw utterly plain/ugly girls in manga.

Now, it's not like I need this tsundere lemon bath powder, I don't need it at all, b-baka!!

Btw. I can't really make of it who are the 'main pair's - to me it just seems a bunch of stories about a bunch of girls

Asa-senpai, that's what I also was thinking about all the way, you're right on Gaku pulling a Madoka by becoming a nameless concept that cannot be percieved or remembered by anyone but one person, whose recollection of her being this particular human allows her to "invite" Gaku in her realm and interact with her, just like Rebellion!Homu. And if Urobuchi hasn't read this, that'd be just a coincidence, but that one of a greatest scale among literary coincidences of al time.
Moreover, what has been possessing my thoughts also is how this manga is not as much a quantum mechanic-inspired science fiction, as a philosophical study researching the concept of self. As in, self-ness, or Ichkeit, as Hiedegger called it. Thus, Manabu is most probably the Existenz that realised its Ichkeit, transcended the Sein ( being) but could not transcend other existences, as they all realize their own selfness through percieving Sein - and each's perception differs from the others, thus they are unique and on top of that parallel existences.
Aside from existentialism, this manga touches upon the problems researched by (post) structuralistic works, by trying to define the nature of individual perceptions of reality, but instead of tying it with language realm, explains it through physics.
