Having not experienced the joy or lack thereof in many harem manga, I found this pretty amusing. [insert way too technical discussion of genre and archetype of the sort that usually has my wife throwing pillows and begging me to stop] I'm willing to give it another chapter or two. It isn't near the level of Monster Musume but has potential.

And for those discussing how androgynous the MC is, when I was a high-school freshman, every girl looked like that and only half had long hair. The only reason I ever wore pink was because I was mistaken for a boy so many times. That's in the US, I imagine girls in Japan are even less-developed at that age.

Can't wait for the next one!

I love this. The proportions really are all over the place, but I get the feeling from general body development that the younger girl is in 7-8th grade and the older is a senior. Still illegal in the US but happens all the time anyway. The foot thing is ... different ... but kinda sexy. And what is with deodorant cans and the Japanese? Maybe a way to get around censorship or something, dunno. I'd never do it but hey, I'm old and can afford better stuff.

The cuteness, it entraps me. Utterly stupid, but cute. Please translate moar :)

Just so .... so ... cuuuuute! Wait, people get undressed & do it with the lights off the whole time? That has never occurred to me. Sounds like fun role-play for next time heh heh.

Holy shit this manga is so good, its so inspiring, I fucking shudder as I'm reading
promptly goes pick up my bass
Can't wait to see their bass player >w<

Me too, only my guitar. Our living room looks like a music store (2 basses, 4 guitars, piano, amps and cords) but none of us has used one in about three years and that was only to play Rocksmith. Maybe that's one of the appeals to older readers; who didn't want to be in a band at some point during high school?

I'm thinking the paranormal club girl will be the singer, since the theme seems to be opening up to be your real self, and the blonde is intriguing too. I've developed a few theories about how this all came to be, but no potential spoilers!

Um. Yeah. I don't see any comedy in this at all. There's a huge difference between "rape" as used for comedic effect during consensual role-play and this. It just shows the double standard between male on female assault and female on female assault; they're both the same, but the latter is too often played for comedy or with an attitude that since it's another girl, it isn't 'really' rape so its ok. It's not.

Wait, what ... huh? I agree the proportions were just weird in some places etc etc but it really comes down to ... O.o it can never be unseen ...

Also, creepy. Very, very creepy.

I don't know why, but his gives me a degree of existential horror.

I know what you mean. Kinda Munch meets Dali meets Orwell meets M. Night Shyamalan ...
edited because my Art Appreciation classes are waaaay too long gone and I can't remember my artists lol

OMG awesome! That last bit was priceless. I can so picture some variation of that happening in real life. Of course, in real life it would be a teacher walking in, and I'm not sure how the principal would fill out the suspension slip ...

the legend of the crossroad's devil is about a bluesman of the mississippi/louisiana, johnsonn, or somenthing similar, not jimi endrix, but it's always fun when japanese mix people and stories from occidental culture

My take on this is that anyone who invokes the same 'spell' in a crossroads will draw a demon "crossover" and has to fulfill the contract (becoming a legend) before they turn 28. It's an interesting way of explaining the curse of 27. It seems that it was Shiori's brother who did the spell, and since he "is now 33" I wonder if he died, and how Shiori got stuck with the contract.

I really like how Jimi is portrayed as wanting only to play guitar again. That seems very realistic, and he started out doing blues so talking about it makes a lot of sense. The art is also cool, it evokes the style that was popular back in the 60's and 70's,

I see several arcs coming out of this, but none of them will likely occur. Sadness. I may be tempted to pop out a fanfic of one of them, but I have a zillion projects going already (My current fave is an Elsanna visual novel) so who knows.

I reallllly want the next chapter to come out

On a God-I'm-dating-myself note; my wife attended Woodstock and says it was incredible. The parts she remembers anyway.

I agree, art is good. Otherwise ... pointless.

It was pretty good, I liked the flow and the story was better than some of these one-shots. Also the frames with the naughty bits. Nicely drawn naughty bits.

I love this! Every time I look at it, I wanna quote that little girl from Despicable Me ... "It's so FLUFFFFY" ... Moar pls :)

Edit: I say fluffy thinking of the actual dragon. Cute. Like a stuffed animal. A fire-breathing, laundry eating stuffed animal. There's something wrong with me, I know.

Gawd I love this series! I just got vol1-3 from Kinokuniya and waiting to save enough for my next order. Can't wait to see what happens next.

That was a riot. I keep saying how stupid this series is and yet I keep reading and laughing.

sees title and cover "it's probably just a metaphor"
sees cast "omg wtf have I gotten myself into..."

This

"I can't believe I ate my crush" ZOMG I fell out over this. The art was harsh and I couldn't figure out who was who but who cares?

Not my cup of tea. It's a little too realistic in the unhealthy relationship kind of way. Oh well, can't like 'em all.

So cuuuuute! I agree that I almost dreaded the sad ending that had to accompany Yui7, but it was a pleasant surprise. Sometimes not quite showing is even hotter than a detailed blow-by-blow.

Am I the only one who's ever chomped on an out-of the-way area? "Um, no Doctor, see ... those teeth marks on her thigh? Yeah, our Yorkie jumped up and bit her. Really." Ahhhh, good times - to be young again ...

Whattayamean, "To be continued?" I started just skimming (finally) because I tend to avoid the drama tag and then ... all of a sudden its saying I have to wait to find out the end? I want it meoooow!

Also, plotting was well thought out and the art really helped set the mood. Vive la bestie friend crush!

Yay, finally got the back story on Kaguya and Number 1! I put off reading these because of the cross-dressing tag, but I'm glad I gave in; I'm now waiting on volume 1 for my manga library. It's mindless, cute in an unapologetically gender-confusing way, and makes me laugh. Next I want to see 18+-san's history!

I said I wasn't gonna read it, I said I wasn't gonna read it. I read it. I'm in the wake-me-when-it's-over camp with this one. I heard way too much of the bi-tri from my girls when they were in high school to ever want to ride along a fictional accounting. Of course, that may be a compliment to the author's realism, since the comparison was almost instantaneous.

Maybe in this one the protag will wind up actually being a lesbian at the end, unlike my girls. Where did I go wrong with them ... wanders off mumbling into her decaf latte about finding old Indigo Girls CDs

Huzzah, update!! The brush style in this makes it reallllly hard to tell characters apart, but that just gives me an excuse to read it six or seven times. :P

I find Nanako kind of creepy, like she's right on the edge of becoming a full-fledged psycho. Maybe that's because I dated a girl just like her and she ended up being .. a full-fledged psycho. X( shudder I like the art, though!
