Plot, Schmot. The art is what makes this manga for me. The style is familiar, but it's done so gorgeously. Looking forward for some more eye candy.

This was kinda disappointing, the story entirely I mean. The only good thing about the ending is that it didn't try to destroy a Yuri ending completely. But as you can read in the Afterword, the story was centered on a "Rebuilding family" rather then "girls love" incest or no incest.

I dunno, the story felt like a sugar-driven car salesman: He offers a awesome deal before showing us the actual price.
Chapter 1, possibly Ch2 and others, left a impression of a Yuri tale of incest before switching to a unrequited side couple that ended sour and a screen time deprived side character couple, and finally the only Yuri in the end was the side characters.

Neat story, but man, way to waste my time. I was fine with the slice of life vibes until the end because God knows how many of those I've watched or read.

Conclusion: Interesting story stays interesting at the cost of Yuri, which was possible without incest, and a change of behaviour at the end by a character we never cared about until then not to mention it felt like the yandre bit in the last few chappies was a trait pulled straight out its own a$$, a ability that many slice of lifes use to get interest/reactions/money/emotions/etc.

Final Verdict: 6.8 of 10. Great story pulled too much out of its rear end to get to where it wanted, destroying almost all the yuri in the end. Author's afterword clearly says nothing about yuri, so there you go.

In what took 4 year gap between two chapters uploaded, only one passed when this chapter came about. Thank Yuri I didn't have to wait 3 more years for it. Thank. Yuri.

Lol, love how it almost turned into the stereotypical drama but instead came back with that anticlimactic cooldown. Gotta love the manga.

After loading the chapter 5 cargo onboard, the S.S. Ayamoe is ready to set sail. While it has created a lot of distance from its counterparts, the race is not over yet.

May the gayest ship win!!!

I am actually looking forward to how this plot wraps itself up, as you all should too. You'd be amazed how a well-executed ending can make all the nonsense before it make sense.

I agree to an extent. Too much nonsense, however, can eventually cause a massive increase of plot holes, and worse, it can cause even a nicely formed ending to lose credibility and value or become cursed as a "excuse", "half-assed", and usually "lost in the confusion".

This confession is coming right after a series of different events, some lacking understanding or connection, that came and went by at light speed, but usually gave us a clear view of each characters reaction and their actions. The point is that the final panels of chapter 9 feels a bit rushed, more so then any of the other situations, which indicates that this is probably the 'rising action' and that we are nearing the final chapter.

I do pray that I'm wrong, because last minute confessions and straight-from-the-ass 'I realized me wanting to have sex with you/kiss you/etc was just a sign of sisterly love and nothing more, teehee!' plot excuses fit misfits such as "Lemonade" and "Happy End" more so then Sakane No Miru Yume.

If I'm right (I really don't want to be), then this manga succeeded only in making its plot holes into its very own grave.

Cliche and old plot, but still a nice read. I found the art standard quality and the yuri was a bit downplayed. However, cliche as the characters were, I found them both to be very interesting (...)

On the contrary, I don't think the story or characters were cliche at all. Sure it may have seemed that way at first, but on closer inspection there are fine details that make this story quite original. For example, the megane girl was well aware that she was popular and knew all the reasons why, the delinquent girl (rather than being stoic and unwilling to befriiend anyone) was the one who approached megane girl and was the one who originally wanted to be her friend, and the delinquent girl was willing to give up fighting after being asked the first time (usually there's a bit of resistance). So I really wouldn't call this one shot cliche at all.

Ah, somebody beat me to it. ^^
I thought that the main character was pretty refreshingly frank - glasses-wearing bookworms tend to be presented as being shy and studious and not much else, but this one knows she's popular, is quite confident of herself and more a loner than a person too shy to make friends. I quite like her face on page 29 and, of course, the nonchalant coming out as well!

Can't wait to see the sequels! And great job as usual, Yuri Project!

My bad. I wrote what I did after reading the first row of comments, some of which said the story was more or less "cliche" and the word just kinda stuck itself to my mind.

Still, I liked the characters more then anything else this manga had to present, Credit page aside, both characters where fresh and different (ignoring my first comment) and the way their emotions where presented made the read all the more enjoyable. However, that's as far as I liked it. It was nice and refreshing to read, but all in all that fact that it's a one shot prevents me from praising the manga or rating it higher then I have: 7.9 out of 10.

Phew! That was a close one. This manga Is lucky that they made the girl part squid, otherwise a Cannibalism tag would have been required.

That aside, I really enjoyed this chapter because Baseball is my favorite sport and hobby; not that I didn't enjoy the ending or anything ;)

Maybe because of how many times I read and re-read Wife and Wife) if not the best part of the story.

All in all, the story was alright, maybe a little bit above average. The credits page, on the other hand... Well, let's just say it's Five stars worthy.

This is off the bat(aka random), but I just want to thank you, Purple Library Guy, for your reviews and manga recommendations on Batoto and elsewhere. Without you, I would have missed out on so much enjoyable content, so again I say off-topic and I say thanks.

I know I laughed my ass off at this ending, but hey, look on the bright sight. At least it wasn't like Oreimo, which dragged a neat plot into a shitty conclusion. Happy End has the generic incest lesbian storyline that struggled to keep itself different before collapsing in chapter 8, a chapter filled with easily resolved issues, fast motioned and almost unemotional moments, and multiple excuses that lead up to a shit-baked cookie of a kiss that is forced down each readers throat (The authors teaser that is meant as a thank you note yet ends up looking like a WW II casuilty list) and a wedding highlighted by the words "I'm the happiest in the world".

But fuck what the character thinks. If this is happiness, then I wonder why it's making me sick to the stomach.

If you think about it, the blonde girl seems to have loved Emi and eventually the feelings where mutual. Unfortunately, the blondy was getting tired of waiting for the cold blooded women to make a move on her. However, their is a strong suggestion that the blonde haired girl could not ante up the courage and so in her nervous//longing fit, she took advantage of one of her coworkers crush (Either she noticed this or he confessed or she confessed) in order to get the attention of Emi so that she would need her as well as filling in some sexual desires. When that didn't work, she cheated (possibly making it very obvious to Emi) on her boyfriend for the sake of getting the heart of the other. Emi, however, was obviously a unwilling participant in the others game, not wanting to get caught up in the drama and catch too much attention on herself. This, however, made the blonde girl to try again and again which, as a result, opened up the affair to the public aka workplace. Later on, blonde finds out she is preggers, at some point breaks up with her boyfriend or whomever, and gets rejected by the very girl whom she had been going for since day 1 a little bit after telling Emi about her pregnancy.

And so, blonde had done terrible things for the sake of love, similar to Lelouch from the Code Geass trilogy. However, Lelouch differs in that he did what he did for the HAPPINESS of someone he loved. The blonde girl did some pretty awfull things for HER OWN HAPPINESS. Had she really loved Emi, she would have properly confessed instead of conjuring up a sheet storm.

Emi is not completely innocent here. While the blonde girl went upon some most unpleasant methods to get Emi to love her, Emi could just as easily confessed to the blonde girl. On the other hand, this discredits Emi's personality in that she is a semiantisocial cold hearted calculator and considering she knew blondy liked her, their is a good chance that she was half testing her, half hoping she would stop her antics as soon as possible.

Then again, who would want to date the girl who cheated on her boyfriend just to get your attention and to get you jelly, all while ignoring the fact that she never confessed to her to begin with? Not me, that's for sure

Is that it? Only three pages?

Yes. Though it takes place in the same AU 'verse as this, this and this.

This one is originally from a Mokou x Mystia Anthology comprised of shorts, so sadly most of the stories don't have a ton of substance.

So basically Mystia doesn't stand a chance.

Considering the only impression Mystia had on Moukou in this story was "panty flasher", she has a long way to go before she can't stand a chance.

Btw, the "I smell Riko-chan" line made me combust into laughter. It's as if her infatuation with Riko gave her superpowers or some sheet, lol.

Look at the page again. Hinako is biting down on her finger, which is why Sato licks it after.

Ah, I overlooked that. Thanks for clearing things up.

Maybe. However, I don't remember her getting burned at all in the previous work, so perhaps their is a story before this one that has yet to be uploaded if not translated. Then again, this is a hotspring were talking about, so idktbh

Not sure if this was pointed out, but in Chapter 2, page#2 has a duplicate page#3 in its place. The original page is no where to be seen, unless I'm the only one experiencing this problem so far.

Binbou updated ch2 to v2, but erroneously replaced page 2 with the new version of page 3.

Stupid mistake on my part most likely, sorry. I updated our version, thanks a bunch for pointing it out.

It's nothing, really. Thank you and Binbou Scans for fixing the problem and uploading Chapter 3. I can't ask for anything more.

I apologize for making a selfish, unnecessary comment. It was pretty irrelavent for me to say all that. So pretend the comment never happened. I hold no grudges to those complaining against NOR am I sad, mad, or embarrassed about any of this. It is what it is.

Here is shorter, socially acceptable version of that comment

Thanks for the uploads Dakara. The manga is so short and simple and the plot is a big bag of fun so I appreciate your hard work.

P.s. Despite my original comment, I do not find this manga weird. The only weird thing that I ever have encountered is... well, better safe than sorry.

So, can we all enjoy the manga now that my selfishness has been absolved?
