Let me explain something to you. I am intersex, I am a woman with a penis, as well as a partial uterus, and vaginal opening.
It's nice to know my existence is just a fetish then.
(also, we don't know the context of this particular Eli, so for all we know, she could be intersex like myself, or trans)
But it bothers me when the "futa is cancer infecting yuri" because for me, it's one of the few times where I can personally relate to the character.
Ah c'mon, I was responding to transphobia accusations and you reply with something quite different while pretending it was about you. Real life people aren't called "futa" so I'm not sure where you see an implication that your existence is a fetish. I have no interest in insulting anyone here, there is no need to make it personal.
Real talk though, do you think the average artist who draws futa is doing it for the sake of intersex people? I get that it's nice when as a minority you can feel yourself represented in a fictional work for once - hell we're on a yuri focused site - but that doesn't mean we have to pretend that's what the author intended.
If one day someone creates a manga about a canonically IS or trans girl who has lesbian relationships ncluding sex scenes I wouldn't hesitate for a second to consider it yuri (I also read and enjoy Aiesu) but futa is an entirely different beast. It's usually a result of ignorance about female sexuality/anatomy, artistic laziness, phallocentrism or plain "omggg gurl with a dick" exotic fetishism (which I actually find harmful to perceptions of trans/IS individuals).
Last post on this because derailment.
