I'm always grateful for the scanlation teams bringing us new material to read.

I think the main frustrating thing here is, no progression. It's almost like their relationship is going backward instead of forward. That alone is frustrating. Then these new scanlations come out that are a little confusing to read, and it just irritates people more because they want something to happen, nothing is, and on top of that it's a little confusing...

One person above said terrible translation is terrible... but uh... I can't read Japanese at all... and I like this series, so any translation where I at least get some idea of what is going on is very appreciated. Would I like it to be better than it is? Well of course... but I appreciate the work the team did regardless.

I understand a lot of people didn't like this. But it was a nice story. Good art, well written, just doesn't end how we'd all like. I've read almost every romance tagged story on this site, so I definitely would have liked to see this one turn out well, but in reality... sometimes it ends more like this.

I generally hate the 'player' type girls... but I love Kana, she's great lol

You can have development without "I just met you but I love you". Girl Friends is the perfect example of that, and its the reason I like it so much. This story they meet, and then they just seem to stand still. No development at all, just static characters in different situations.

Yes, I understand your view point, but it's a decent story so far. All I can say is we'll just have to wait and see how it turns out. Like I said, imo if there is Yuri in the end, and has a decent story, it's fine :)

And really... are you THAT mean? :) Don't compare stories to Girlfriends... it's just not right... you'll just hurt all the other stories' feelings if you continue to do that ;) Girlfriends was the very first Yuri I read. Nothing compares to it in my eye, since it was wonderful and my first... it is in a class of its own, lol

Wow, tough question you asked there. I liked Sasameki Koto more. Why, I don't know. I just thought it was a cute story. Ushio Kazama (one of the mains in SK)... when I first started reading this, she annoyed me a little, and I thought she was kinda stupid. By the end I loved her. To me, she somehow transformed into an adorable girl... and at times when she was sad, I wished I could give he a hug or some encouraging words to help her out. Cheesy, I know... but I got attached to that story pretty easily. I've read the entire story about 3 times now. I love the cast, I think it's great.

SBF I have only read once. I found it to be more angsty in a serious way. If that makes any sense. SK was angsty in a rather humerous way. I plan to read SBF again soon, perhaps re reading will make me like it more. But as of now, SK is better imo.

There's all sorts of liking going on before the inevitable get-together, but I think it shows the stages of getting to know a person and then going out with them really nicely. In the middle of its second volume right now though, so not particularly long.

Yeah, Kase-san is one of my absolute favorites. I am patiently (heh, yeah sure.. me patient laugh) waiting for chapters after the kiss. No idea what happens from there, hopefully a lot more :)

SK was long but it already had its romance in the first chapters, and it wasn't consistent but it developed. However, R&H isn't like that. The first chapter was so promising. But as it goes, nothing really happened between riko and haru's relationship. It's more like a shoujo ai and a slice of life (it is tagged sol, afterall) more than a yuri.

Yeah, I understand, good point. This one is good though. It just needs to progress more. If it doesn't, that sucks, but it'd still be an amusing read. I think Gokujou drops is a good one. They kissed which accounts to going out in manga world, but it doesnt end there. Their relationship still advances. :)

Again, one of my faves. It's on my list here, I re read it every so often. The necklace charm thing is way cheesy and coincidental, but I love it :)

I like this manga a lot but I don't see any real development between riko and haru. The art is superb and the new girl that joined the club also looks pretty. I hope the author doesn't make the romance to be too dragging.

Personally I like stories that take time for a relationship to develop. I'm not as big of a fan as the "I just met you but I love you" "Oh I love you too, let's date" stories.... Everyone felt Sasameki Koto was long, it was a little, but I loved it. Loved seeing the relationship change and develop. Same with Girlfriends. I don't care how long it takes, it just has to actually deliver in the end :)

Though that being said. If anyone knows of a good long series, where it shows the two girls getting close, then dating, then actually continuing after they start dating, please let me know. Rarely seem to see a story with all three parts. (budding relationship, getting together, dating afterward) Most seem to end as soon as they start dating. Or start with the couple dating. I wanna see it all :)

Felt like a very abrupt end. But still it was a good manga as a whole.

They are twins, but they are very close. The one you mainly follow seems as though she wants more, but it never goes there. It's just a cute story between two close twins. It's nothing like this story. This was a decent story, but I love Candy Boy. I like relationships more than sex :)

This was ok. The thing that annoys me most about stories like this is their names. Yes yes, they are twins, we get it... do they need to have names almost the same too? It only makes things more confusing.

I love Candy Boy. But I think I like this side story even more.

I don't know if I like Yurika being so assertive. It's like her character had a complete 180 a bit too soon.

On page 088, she says how she's been doing it for about 3 months and is completely used to it by now. So time lapse between chapters. I like her being more unsure of things also, but this way is good too.

Really like this for some reason. Hope for new chapters soon. :)

More generally, I loved this manga all the way up to the point where that woman the blonde girl is living with showed up, and from that point on I have found it seriously frustrating.

TOTALLY agree with everything you said. Great before her, steady decline since...

laugh I keep coming back to this one just to see her get hit by the chair again.

Wow, I sometimes roll my eyes at how stories often seem to magically turn out all sweet and fluffy in the end. And then I read something like this and call myself a hypocrite...
