As much as we need more yuri to be animated, please God not Citrus. The only thing saving this manga is its art, making it an anime would kinda make that moot, and therefore suck.

I just realised I never properly understood why Keiko got mad there? Was it because the guy was undressing and suggesting sex? Or was it because he got home late despite her getting in the accident?

I think it's more likely she was venting the loss of her baby rather than actually being mad at the guy.

I felt so happy when she just let it all out and got her revenge. Most of the time the bully victim is the one that ends up doing nothing about it, but this time the victim actually took action in a fulfilling way.

I would say probably both.

There is a pretty huge fanbase for BL composed of avid fujoshis from what it seems.
While GL does have a fanbase, there's a smaller number of people who strongly feel about it. However, the GL fanbase is a lot more balanced than the BL fanbase in terms of gender.

Normally i like age gap stuff, even with sex, but this seem a bit off . Not only the teacher is a little bit pushy for sex, but obviously she's playing with her, so ... yeah.

^ I felt the same way... I sort of skipped the sex itself, since the relationship felt too off for me to read through it.

Bumping this because the season is starting and the first episode of selector spread WIXOSS was incredibly gay. Most of the episode is Hitoe taking Ruuko out, including to a "Girl meets Girl festival"(!), Ru is hung up on Tama, Iona continues to be Iona, but with more naked embracing imagery, and the preview is about Akira's feelings towards Iona

Is Wixoss actually worth picking up? As in, starting from the first season. I've basically been avoiding anything Mari Okada-related following the disappointment which was BRS (TV)... the series looked like something I might have picked up for the seiyuu and hopeful subtext otherwise, but my yuri-radar response was to give it a pass. I will admit I'm somewhat curious now, however.

Okada can be hit-or-miss, but I don't avoiding her entirely is a good idea. And BRS was worth it for the fights, if nothing else

The first season of WIXOSS was pretty good, if slow in the middle. Yuri-wise, there was some stuff that could be read into, but not much active shiptease. What happened with this episode was fairly surprising and I'm not sure where they're going with it

I watched it at first since I heard it had some yuri subtext. Somewhere down the road, I got hooked and forgot the original reason I watched it xD.

Credits page: can someone tell me where all the ErixUmi is coming from? Far as I'm concerned there hasn't been much in the way of any development between those two any more than there has for Umi and Honoka, and even that isn't the main pairing for those two.

Eri and Umi have similar personalities. Music videos usually had them near each other or having some supportive (touchy feely) moments. Same goes for the anime.

If so somehow this is taking a turn to a dark and I want that guy to disappear even more than before

It could be that he just see her naked... Which is incredible wrong too (but she resembles her mother), but let's hope things don't pass that point

I'm guessing their dad really got emotionally unstable after their mom's death. He began seeing Mikage as a replacement for their mother as she gradually resembled her more and more. Then he most likely performed inappropriate (possibly sexual) actions on Mikage several times in the past, which became the reason why Tomoe despises her father so much that she refuses to even hold his hand. It's possible that he simply used Mikage as a model for his art... if we look at it optimistically.

I've actually found a grand total of one shounen ai/yaoi story that I actually like and can re-read as much as I can with most yuri. That's Mainichi Seiten, which wins because it's not only well drawn, but more importantly the writing is very good indeed. But from what I've been exposed to, it's an outlier on both counts.

Mmm... It's not really that unusual honestly. It's like how BL is read by a lot of straight girls. Though in GL, the ratio of boys and girl reading it seems a lot more balanced compared to BL. BL seems to be overwhelmed with a girl fanbase xD.

Hmmm? I actually always liked this story a lot. I always thought the main point of the story was

Children ultimately are chained to their family and have no actual freedom to resist until they become adults. Nagisa tries to fight with "bullets" against her situation and decides to go into the force because of her brother being a hikikomori in order to earn money instead of continuing her education. Mokuzu escapes from reality by using sugarcoating her situation with lies, her "candy bullets". In the end the meeting of these two resulted in them trying to change the paths that they were about to take, but in the end Mokuzu became into sea foam as predicted. In the end Mokuzu and Nagisa were helpless and could not change their situation as children.

Seemed more like a coming of age story if anything else. Albeit, with a darker , tragic tone.

I thought it was going to go places when she bitched at everyone and her friend literally betrayed her. But not. She just decides to roll over. Wtf!? And yeah, Keita is kinda acting like a douche with the slur and Youko's friend still defended him. Just wow.

At this point, you can only guess that Maki only likes him for his look and that's kind of lame and agghh

Eh... At this point, even if it ends in yuri. It wouldn't really make you want to pair the two together after how seeing how, supportive, Maki is of Youko. I would probably prefer Youko finding someone else instead of ending up with Maki.

Got a question about Katahane, are routes done in a specific order? Seen posts but nothing actually explains it.
(found a bunch of text lines which people call a walkthrough, which I find copied in many places)

I have never played VN's with different routes, just gone through linear ones... So I am pretty clueless when it comes to this.

It's more of a precedence thing. Some routes have to be unlocked by completing other routes.

Those text lines in the walkthrough are basically the choices you select when given the option.

Like there's a choice A or B at a certain part of the visual novel.
There is also a choice C or D at a later part of the visual novel.

The guide will list the way to get into route 1 one would be
A
C

Then it may list the way to get into route 2
B
D

Then it may list a route that requires route 1 to be completed and then a choice E may appear.
A
E (Shows when it's unlocked)

For Katahane, you can go with Wakaba or Angelina's route in whichever order. But for Coco's route, you have to finish both Wakaba and Angelina's route to be able to play Coco's route.
