i read this one here long ago and i can't recall much of it, it was about a plain looking girl who didn't have any friends and always got bullied by 3 girls, then a girl appeared and tried to fight the bullies for her, and then they became friends and also fell in love with each other and they even had sex, and in the last chapter after a period of time the bullies met the girl they bullied again and looked at her and thought she was cute when laughing and wondered why did they do all those horrible things to her, they wanted to apologize but then decided to leave her be. i think it was like 3 chapters at best.

Think of it for things like New Game and Non Non Biyori, works that aren't yuri or intended to be, but feature a character who is in love/attracted/wants to get down with another character. Things with a lesbian crush, but the lesbianism isn't a focal point.

but that means the crush has to be one-sided or like i said she never confesses for some reason, because if it was mutual then you clearly need to yuri-tag it.

i see, so then Dynasty considers the yuri tag if the work contained at least one gay girl and that she's doing gay things to another girl, well i guess you could look at it that way. i guess it is fine, after all, the het tag can confirm that there must be straight girls or relationships and it may not be mutual yuri.

btw, i feel like i undetstand the yuri crush tag but at same time i don't, does it involve works that have a girl crushing on another girl but for some reason she never confesses or she's just fine with being friends or something?

just reread this masterpiece, easily one of my favs. people complained about the ending being rushed but i actually think it was fine, i don't feel it needed to drag on more than that, and Sayuri finally realized her feelings for Mikoto in the end.
the only thing that really bothered me about this manga is not continuing on with the side couples. the chemistry between Himeko and Oga was just so wonderful. having Himeko realizing that she should follow what she wants and not just satisfying people's view towards her by falling in love with a girl which she never thought she would actually does was a nice, and also Oga learned that she should be more honest to herself too, i just wish there was a bonus chapter about them where Himeko confesses or Oga falls n love with Himeko. but still, what a wonderful work by itou hachi.

the op was more than enough to hook you with how it is both cute and dark at the same time. plus the twist at the end and not mentioning the tones shift and the facial expressions..basically, it wasn't necessary to add that spoiler. well not that i'm complaining, everything else was fine, and if they're gonna go for an original ending, they need to do it well without it being too rushed. not that i'm a fan of anime original endings, but i guess it can't be helped. boring cliche anime (cough black clover cough) gets +50 eps but anime with unique characters and story gets one cour with anime original ending.

Happy Sugar Life first ep was actually good, the op,the ed and the voice actors (Hanakana :3) were all great, and the animiation and the facial expressions were nice, the only thing that bothered me was the ending spoiler at the beginning, why do directors (or whoever is in charge of this) have this annoying habit of spoiling the ending in the first minutes of a show?! what do they gain by this i wonder.
I actually read the manga long ago and nearly forgot everything that happened, did that scene happen in the manga or are they going for an Anime-Original ending?

read this long ago but stopped because no more chapters were translated, but recently i discovered that the last chapters were translated and god, the ending was so sweet! (a lil bit rushed though) and the shinoxkimi developement at the end sure was unexpected but so cute. what a great but underrated manga.

man, i've been keeping up with all of the manga's chapters, and your statement is totally wrong, Yoriko is equally touchy-feely with all of the girls and not particually interested in hanabi, Shinoa is obviously in love with Yuu, remember that beach chapter in the last page when she said "after all, i'm just a maiden in love" while looking at Yuu?, and as for Yuu, i'm not sure, judging from her past story she used to have a crush on Yoriko but she was rejected and dunno if she got over it, but she TOTALLY doesn't have any feelings for hanabi, that kiss she gave her was obviously out of challenge not out of love! she did say "i won this round".

Honestly, i don't care who does hanabi ends up with, but if the author ignored ShinoaxYuu ship or made Yuu reject shinoa i'd seriously be pissed off cuz that ship was the whole reason i started reading the manga.

So maybe a protagonist is a "ladykiller" and "gets all them girls" but usually the girls move on once the immediate arc is done; or it's just for a chapter; or they have some "main girl" anyway.
while male harem everybody sticks around as if whatever random loser is currently picked for MC purposes were the last human on earth.

that's right. i want yuri harems to be like that too!, but hey, who cares for yuri harem anyway? we need to self insert as the guy right? sigh.
