I don't know why, but this scene in 145 always gets a laugh out of me.

^ There is almost zero chance of any yuri stuff happening in the show. What is happening is that the demon/deity Akane, the one with the pink hair, has some kind of history with Rikka the dark-haired girl, who doesn't remember any such thing for good reason. If Akane is interested, it is one-sided and unpleasantly coercive...she acts seductive, but it is unclear exactly what is going on and with four or so eps left and a bunch of stuff to solve, a yuri entanglement is highly unlikely for all kinds of reasons. They look hot together. That's it.

There is no yuri in this show.

^ It hasn't been often, but it has been sweet. The picture at the amusement park with the bear mascot, Yoshida coming to help when Mako was crying (over a manga), the last chapter where Yoshida compliments Mako's cooking and Mako blushes. They're just so sweet together and innocent at the core that it's easy to ship them.

I know what you mean, but Tomoko definitely registers to Minami as a threat. A threat that is a threat because it can't be classified or predicted. Tomoko is "that girl" to Minami, both vague and present. That's my reading, anyway.

One thing for sure: Minami is the only character in the series completely devoid of worthwhile human qualities.

^ You have a point about Minami. There's a purity to her vicious pettiness, malice, cruelty, and back-stabbing that really does reflect the worst aspect of Tomoko's personality. I think that's why she avoids and probably fears Tomoko, beside the fact that Tomoko has friends Minami doesn't want to cross and probably heard Tomoko's loud comment about her being a "little fanged girl."

This is kinda funny. I wonder what Tomoko is thinking here.

This is a lot harder to build a case for than anyone else, because the two of them are mortal frenemies.

Asuka and Tomoko would have a very simple relationship. Asuka would say what she thought they should do; Tomoko would consent to everything.

^ It will be regarded as a masterpiece over time, I think. The parts that didn't work comparatively well were swallowed up by the brilliance of the show as a whole.
