Saki is so lucky to have a nice and supporting woman fall for her. It's also cool how mochi shows that improvement only happens slowly through diligence and hard work. BTW I wished we could hear the Saki's POV about these events; it would be funny if Tachibana was just misunderstanding things.
I think this ending makes sense. Emi has been in denial with her feelings for a very long time, so one measly kiss won't immediately make her realize she's in love with her friend. Several more kisses, however....
i don't think it was suicide....I thought she just passed out because from all of the sleepless nights
p.s. I liked this one-shot and the author's previous work. Definitely looking forward to her next project!
I wonder if the protagonist is also aware that his universe is a manga: does he have free will? It doesn't seem like he is aware that he's just following a script.
Only a few hours ago there was still one not Mikanuji title occupying one slot on the Most Popular of Past 7 Days section. Now the entire thing is nothing but Mikanuji. Holy moley.
That reminds me when Mochi au Lait dominated the front page once before.
There's just something about simple art but great characters.
