Well now I'm all frustrated after reading the interpretation of the Chinese Raws.

I have one idea of the story, but now it's changing entirely. Translating is such a pain! (Though I'm extremely appreciative of it being done at all).

I'm sad that this story was (possibly) licensed and it will be a loooong time (if ever) that I will get to finish it.

If I remember correctly, Bloom into You is published on the 27th of each month, and 4s releases the chapter within the next few days. Pretty fast updates.

For instance,
Chapter 10 was published on Feb 27th: 4s released on March 3rd
Chapter 10.5 on March 27th -> March 29th
Chp 11on April 27th -> May 30th

One point that kinda worry me is how Nanami keep wishing for Yuu not to fall in love with her. Considering Yuu seems to be actually falling for her (though not realizing it yet), I hope this won't lead to some sort of reversal with Yuu being in love with Nanami, who in turn decide to no longer love Yuu because she now returns her feelings.

Would be kinda annoying if that turns that way, so hope not, but latest chapter kinda gave me that vibe...

I got that vibe as well. But I think in a way, it may be that Nanami has taken to heart the many times Yuu has expressed how she cannot seem to fall in love. In her own way she might be trying to do anything to keep Yuu by her side and if that means, for her, that Yuu can't return her feelings, she's saying she'll be fine. Almost like she's trying to convince herself she doesn't need that.

And that might be the crutch. She's trying to convince herself. Yet, Nanami isn't exactly honest with herself. We don't really know what is going on with her most of the time since this is mostly from Yuu's perspective. Even that short chapter about her deceased sister doesn't tell us a whole hell of a lot other than she lost her sister and now she is oddly distrustful of the word 'love'.

My conjecture (hope!) is that when Yuu does throw her hat in the ring and realize her feelings, that she helps Nanami also better understand herself and then they can take the next steps in their relationship with one another.

Methinks Yuu doth protest too much.

Like many of you I do really, so very much like this story. Maybe even love this story. It is probably because in many respects I identify with Yuu. (In the rest, I identify with Maki, since I do love reading stories about other couples falling in love).

But throwing in my few cents--I don't think it will have a bad ending. In my humblest opinion Yuu may not be in love with Touko (Nanami) in the way that Touko is in love with her, but that is because her feelings take time to grow. I did a quick re-read and if her personality applies to how she loves, she simply takes a long time to make decisions. And the decision to love can't be rushed.

Yuu's sister and friends even say that she is hesitant in joining into groups or activities, but when she does, she goes all out for them. So I think, eventually, Yuu will be head over heels for Touko. Though this may present problems for Touko since she seems to prefer the nonchalant and aloof Yuu as opposed to one who is obsessive about her.

Still, I have hope that the two will eventually come to an understand. For Touko, I think Yuu is her rock and helps keep her steady. Yuu is someone Touko can lean on. And for Yuu, I think Touko is the best choice for someone to fall in love with given her indecisive nature. Touko is patient and doesn't seem to hold back in her feelings. In a way, she's (unconsciously?) giving Yuu plenty of time to learn how to love her.

These two are just so seriously adorable together.

It's an intriguing story. I mean, it's got all of you talking about it.

That being said, I still stand by what I said about Reo not having a backbone. She wants people to like her, she wants them to be happy, but instead of being proactive about any of it, she's reactive. I still empathize with her. But yeah, she's pretty flimsy.

Reo just seems like someone who is easily manipulated. Girl needs to grow a backbone.

Perhaps as she grows older she takes on a more mature appearance, so this could possibly be a picture from much later after school. Most people look innocent when they're young, and I think she's only like 15 or 16 in the current chapters. Maybe 17 at the most.

Okay, so, I'm pretty sure there is going to be lots of wonderful lesbian fun in this story, but the author is really making us readers work for it. I'm losing interest so fast and I don't want to. I want to enjoy it, not be bored by all the interactions between the main characters and other characters.

Maybe I doth protest too much.

Of course, I'm also still bitter after all those chapters of stretch.

That feeling between releases and you don't remember anything about the story because it's been so long.
