Not sure if I should be feeling sorry for the person writing this...I mean, 25 years old isn't that bad, it's an overstatement to say that they have nothing to live for due to whatever lack-of qualifications they have.

And those comments on the discussion area...as a former idol fan I never really did see the "no dating" rule as oppressive, if any case the rule actually helps to make the members concentrate on being an idol; besides, the rule only applies to het relationships anyways, I doubt as much of a big fuss will happen over a yuri relationship between the members. Side note, I really hope those that call out the 48 group or any idol group for making a dating-sim, never buy a dating-sim related to their favorite anime or claim any character as their "waifu"; it's hypocritical to claim that the idol industry is "selling the illusion that the members are available" and then proceed to fantasize a relationship with a character that isn't bloody real.

Honestly it's depressing to know that the anime fandom still share this immature one-sided rivalry with the idol fandom like a kid trying to impress their alcoholic parents (10 pts if anyone got this reference). I didn't see as much hate towards anime from the idol fandom when I was still active in them, but yet there's always that hate coming from the anime fandom, even when the anime industry encompassing explicit material is more depraved than the idol industry*.

* - Being obssessed with an idol but still arguably supporting their career vs having the existence of ppl that enjoy reading doujins of female characters being forced into explicit activities often against their will or other hardcore and generally disgusting stuff. The former is just odd, but it's no difference than buying the newest edition figure of a favorite anime chara, the latter however, is just vile and revolting.

Kuudere is one of the original dere types, a character example would be Rei from Eva.

I do visit the yuri subreddit from time to time, it's a rather on the NSFW side but still really nice; though, it does lapses from "faux-yuri"* entries sometimes, but that's usually only a problem in larger albums. Else than that, I only lurk on reddit ^ ^"

- *Meaning, explicit yuri content that are not yuri in-context; usually found in most harem type eroges as a prelude to scenes with the self-insert included.

Side note but related, if anyone actually found my blog on Tumblr, I am extremely strict with the criteria that I repost from, namely,

A: The source blog mustn't contain any NSFW het content (a common~uncommon occurance for pics that are a bit more risque, and blogs that are maintained by japanese users.)
B: Context of the picture, (N)SFW, must be yuri (a bit of a nuisance when it comes to VN/eroge pictures)
C: Sourced sites mustn't contain any NSFW het content (only a nuisance when it comes to japanese "log-sites" that usually have NSFW het content ads over them)

The 3rd criteria is not entirely enforced, usually I'll let it slide for sites like pixiv where the filter blocks out NSFW content by default or booru sites where you have to click on the tags to explore. The reasoning behind these criterias is that I want my blog to be as "pure" as it can in regards to the yuri content, and thus, as much as I can control it, even the exit links have to be yuri-related to an extent.

Hmm...not that I know of, but I think I can consider Houraisen Runa from the 7th and 9th Sono Hanabira game as having traits of a himedere.

As much as I'd like to answer... I don't really have a favorite -dere type, I'm sorry!
But I think I'd prefer tsundere over yandere... Yandere are a little too violent for my taste.

IIRC, there's Tsundere, Yandere, Kuudere, Himedere, Dandere and a few others that are more obscure. And well I guess it's not for everyone ^ ^" I oddly find the violence that comes with it to be rather romantic. Still, tsunderes are nice too ^ o ^
