Why are people so incapable of being about normal about fiction? Something appearing in a story isn't an endorsement of it happening in real life, not every piece of fiction is a morality play.
Like, this isn't some kind of manual on how to behave properly, please learn to read fiction like an adult.
It's even more true in this case, because it's not like this suddenly became an incest fetish manga or something. Despite all the uproar about incest, no incest has actually happened yet, and it's not going to either. Miki is never going to do anything incestual with her sister. This arc is specifically about how she deals with and starts to get over developing feelings for someone she can never be with. Authors are allowed to discuss or include taboo topics like this in their works, just because the subject matter makes you uncomfortable does not make it "bad writing". You enjoying the story before this doesn't give you any say in how Eku-sensei writes it going forward, this manga is not yours. If you don't like the direction she decided to take it, you can stop reading.
And because I keep hearing people say this was "character assassination" or whatever, Miki has been heavily implied to be a siscon nearly every time she's appeared, going back to the very first chapter. The only surprise here was how deep her feelings actually went. This development didn't come out of nowhere, you just missed all the signs cause you weren't paying attention.
I really need to stop reading the comments for this manga, I just get so annoyed every time...
