Well, they have a shared crummy experience in common and both like women, so why not

They have the same eyebrows, they might be related to one another

The Gyaru tag is wrong.

The character Mishima is obviously inspired in whatshername from "The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn't a Guy At All" series. Y'know, the record store girl who likes rock and looks like a guy.

But that's totally 100% not a gyaru.

Mishima's casual look can be called rocker style, grunge style, ghetto style, soft butch style, oh, lotta things—but she's nothing like a gyaru.

Could be referring to the POV character instead (I skimmed the first four chapters and couldn't find her name, lol)

But I don't know how exactly the mods decide that you've earn your gyaru merit badge anyhow, so I'll leave it to someone else to figure out.

damn, this is excellent so far, the latest chapter really turned it up. i always suspected the government was running the hitmen but now i'm almost certain.

i've never read a manga that felt remotely so politically timely and vital before (possibly excluding lgbt issues), it's very refreshing.

The comments on this manga are a far more bizarre and convoluted tale than anything the author could come up with themselves...

Also, how many of Japan's trains really stop running late at night? I thought public transit was king there, and the NYC subway, which in all other situations is a 19th century relic that struggles to approach even bare-minimum adequacy, still runs nearly 24/7.

sigh, always suspicious when a manga like this has a lot of progress in a short time...
