violent emotions??? Unreasonable sure, illogical certainly, selfish probably, maybe event possessive, but not violent.
I think the author used the term violent to describe the emotions she is feeling are very strong and out of control, not that they are reletad to violence
I love how seriously they consider her “secret life” to be, from the tone of the characters you’d think she was doing hard drugs or participating in an underground fight club
It’s easy to see from context clues they only recently got together, with the other women probably initiating since she talks about how good the MC looks from a distant. In that angle the stories kind of about her getting used to the fact she isn’t single anymore and does have someone to go home goo, even if she hasn’t fully committed herself yet.

I can think of plenty of exponentially darker series that ended happily, but not the other way around.
Tbh if this had a bad end it would be pretty metal cause of how absurd it would seem, like all the fluttery heart beats and blushes just for the kohai to go “nah” at the end of the concert, the audacity alone would be praise worthy
