I don't really get all the people saying the new girl is nice. I have a little bit of sympathy for her situation, but it's pretty limited. I've never been that impressed by "Oh poor me I'm always number two"--do those people ever have any sympathy for the people further down? They do not, and she's no exception. Plus, the reason she wants to be number one is a smidge of hypercompetitiveness added to a bunch of need for adulation--she wants all the fans so she can bask in the attention and love, none of which she plans to return. She's a self-centred narcissist; how is that "nice'?
She isn't a character who IS NICE, she is a character who has NICE CHARACTER DESIGN--she LOOKS pretty and inoffensive, and she didn't ever QUITE look yandere when she said some of the creepier things she said. So, enough to be "nice" I guess?
'tis comedy and light hearted. Why doth thou want to overcriticize things that makes people happy?
My money is on Nanase, she's gonna make Fuuko do sexual convenience for Yuni so she can focus on her club. I assume they're all bonkers.
Then Fuuko is chill about it but then she'll have feelings for Yuni and realizes it's happening again like what happen with Yuzuki-chan (ch08). In the end, she's still not the priority.
Imo the author is giving Yuni and Fuuko barely any redeeming features making you not caring about them all that much. In this way no matter how things will end up you lacking empathy for the characters leads to low investment.
Surely this manga is sort of a temptation theme. Like those telenovelas my grandma loves to watch during our siesta. So it'll probably get thirstier in every chapter.
One of the most interesting series in a while. The main focus isn’t the yuri but honestly it makes it better I think. Always a sucker for series in which the yuri is crucial but also not the only thing going on.
The theme is "don't worry about the yuri, it's guaranteed. Worry about the characters' lives."
