Well maybe I am not as easy to convince as some people here, but I can definitely say that I have some disagreements with Nene's post. There seems to be some selective reading going on there, perhaps due to personal biases?

A little Forum Discussion 101 for you: ease up on the personal attacks. Constantly accusing another commenter of biases and hidden motives, as you do time and again, contributes nothing to the debate.

And when you reply to someone's post, try to actually address their arguments. In your message, you completely ignore the points you don't like. For example, that Yomotsuka is just another love potion victim and whatever she feels isn't real, unlike Rin whose love is the real thing.

"Attack motives of opposition, don’t address their arguments" is a terrible rhetorical combo.

If you'll excuse me for a moment; I have something I need to do right now.

(schlick schlick schlick schlick schlick)

Whew! (wipes sweat off brow) Done, I'm back.

Nice utility in this extra chapter, hm?

Congrats on a sterling post! This effectively ends the debate and there's no reason for commenters to keep trying to explain why one should like or dislike Hiroko. Women have since always felt differently about these things. Some are like Charlotte and Emily Brontë, some are like Anne. Some like Heathcliff, some do not. Tastes in fictional characters (emphasis on fiction, reality is another thing) can vary wildly. There's nothing uncommon in that. I hope everbody will realize that writing to justify your likes or criticize others' likes is a pointless exercise.

Wait till you realize that people comment on works for fun and will continue doing so no matter how "pointless" it is.

They didn't say "comment". They said "justify yourself or criticize others". Because there's nothing to justify or criticize in your fictional tastes. You need to work on those reading skills. Work on that pointless aggressivity, too.
I don't know what it is with this manga that makes people lash madly in all directions.

So... the formula is making the readers angry?

Kind of. ^_^

....... "Doesn't like?"
You only like the people you want to fuck rn?

Obviously, I mean romantically.

Next time, put it into writing. Don't assume people can read your thoughts. It's extremely mean, and unfair and just plain wrong, to say something like "Ayaka already said she doesn't like Risa to her face" when in fact Ayaka likes Risa A LOT and has both said it and expressed it, in various ways, several times. Rereading what you've written before hitting send is usually a good idea.

When it comes to romance, Risa is not Ayaka's romantic interest because Ayaka's already in love with Hiroko... but that doesn't mean Ayaka and Risa couldn't have something in the future, if things with Hiroko don't work out for Ayaka. Leaving aside meta arguments—"it won't happen because the author doesn't want it" and so on—from a story pov there's nothing unreasonable about it. Like, at all.

Oh boy another yuri manga jam-packed with drama where all the characters are pos. Can't wait for the inevitable anime adaption lol

Shall I be so lucky!! I'd love to watch this shitshow in anime version.

Amen!
But I kinda doubt that they will take to tv something so sexual and erotic as this manga.

It happens a lot in fiction. I don't know if it exists irl. Probably not.
But feel free to prove me wrong: if you have stories about your own hatesex experiences and want to share with the group, by all means go ahead!

Oh, it happens in real life, too.

Had a couple of co-workers at a restaurant I worked at years ago who were like this. He thought she was an uptight bitch. She thought he was a rude dick. And neither one was shy about letting the other one (and everybody else in earshot) know. Constantly sniping and snarking at one another. The one I remember was when she was complaining about what a fuck-up he was as a waiter, and he told her it was a good thing she was pretty because she was fucking worthless for anything else. She waited until the end of the night after all the customers had left and dumped a whole pitcher of iced tea on his head.

But then we'd have the occasional party after work, or we'd all go to a bar. And once they had enough liquor in 'em, they'd wind up in a private corner somewhere having a snog. And then they'd go to his place or her place and grudgefuck each other's brains out.

This happened, oh, four or five times. And the acrimony between them never thawed. In fact, after the second time, the guy said he would piss her off on purpose because he thought it made the sex better.

And then he quit and got a job somewhere else out of the restaurant business, and that was the end of that.

Sometimes physical attractiveness and raw animal magnetism can overcome a wide variety of personality sins.

O_o!
Thank you for sharing. Honestly, I wouldn't have believed it if this was any other forum, omg.

There's a fatal flaw in this premise.
When she gets horny, her horns come out.
The more horny she gets, the bigger the horns get.
The bigger the horns get, the stronger and more dangerous she becomes... because her strength gets more and more uncontrollable as it keeps increasing.

Oni kouhai will never be able to make love to her senpai without accidentally killing her. >_<

Making your friend drunk to get them in the mood for sexxx, huh?

Maybe it's just me, but I'm starting to suspect the mc is a little bit of a scumbag.

The chibi character cast for Genji Monogatari is ADORABLE and I love Mashiro for drawing it.

But I wonder... what is Murasaki Shikibu x Sei Shounagon? A yuri doujinshi?

Didn't the author of Inugami-san and Nekoyama-san actually write a manga about that?

They did.

And a mighty good work, too. As expected of Kuzushiro.

But reading manga (or a rp doujin) won't help her get into Reiwa. That piece of paper Mashiro hands her has to be some kind of study aid.

I have a modest idea. You know how in the West, when you study the ancient classics, it's almost 100% sure that at some point they will ask you to write an essay comparing Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides?

I suspect in Japan it's the same thing with Murasaki Shikibu and Sei Shounagon, the two lady authors who wrote famous diaries. The paper Mashiro gives to Makino must be a doodley summary of the similarities and differences between the two women and their diaries.

I'm probabaly part of a minority here, but I feel more sympathy towarda Nanase here more than Yuni.

Nah, don't worry, there are lotsa peepz like you. They all yell the same slogans: "They should communicate! Cheating is bad!" They don't realize none of that applies to this story. Firstly, because Yuni communicated her feelings several times, and Nanase promised to change her ways but then didn't change at all. Secondly, because they haven't had sex for half a year, and that suits Nanase perfectly fine. O_o What she wants with Yuni is more platonic sisters than lovers—like in a yuri story from 30 years ago. No lesbian woman in modern yuri can be expected to put up with that shit.

The Gyaru tag is wrong.

The character Mishima is obviously inspired in whatshername from "The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn't a Guy At All" series. Y'know, the record store girl who likes rock and looks like a guy.

But that's totally 100% not a gyaru.

Mishima's casual look can be called rocker style, grunge style, ghetto style, soft butch style, oh, lotta things—but she's nothing like a gyaru.

Taking Wikipedia for its' wisdom,it can easily be said that she is a gal who is using fashion that isn't the norm of a prim and proper housewife.

It's absolute stretch to say she isn't one at all.

Taking Google for its' wisdom, or any Gyaru fashion magazine ever published, it can easily be seen that gyaru are about hyperfeminine looks and roles.
It should be easy to understand if you look at "The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn't a Guy At All" as an example. Aya is a gyaru. Her circle of friends at school are gyaru. Mitsuki? Polar opposite of a gyaru, both as a school nerd and as a hunky 'oniisan'.

That morgue... (☉̃ₒ☉)

Most professional hitmen do retailing.

These guys do wholesaling.

Lmao they really kill in bulk, don't they? I don't understand why the city isn't in an uproar over such a carnival of crime. (Even if they disguise the murders, people should start suspecting!)

I feel like I need someone to explain the whole chapter to me, with so much stuff happening at full speed.

But I'm happy if you just explain one thing: what happened in the shed?? Multi-eyed ghost attacks Michi, small kid intervenes, it's useless and SK gets beaten up, then MEG moves to possess Michi... but doesn't possess her at all? Coz when Michi wakes up, she's ok? Or is the MEG carefully hiding inside Michi (yikes)? And Aizawa didn't notice the other spirits in the shed, nor the MEG who may or may be not inside Michi? Could it be that Aizawa is a ghost who cannot perceive other ghosts?

By the way this is completely unrelated but... Honda Reona (took me a while to recall her name) is a horny little thing, isn't she? First she pervs on Michi coz she looks cool during soccer, then she's super turned on when she thinks Kasumi is dragging her into a dark shed to make out...

The new girlfriend is awfully thirsty. One chick ain't enough for her.

Figures that the one time someone does the right thing in a manga (break up with her gf before going after another lass) it turns out that none of the two girls is satisfied with that.

I like that Jiang is actually affected by the whole thing too and isn't the usual unflappable master of seduction that leads the other side by the nose.

Lol it was her first kiss. Don Juan she ain't, that's for sure!

I was afraid the 'cheating' tag would bring all the toxic whackjobs to the thread.
But it looks like Manio is too much for them to handle, hehe.

Thank the stars, truthfully. When you look at the comments for Too Blue to Call Love, when you see the kind of people who flocked to the discussion, you feel like gnawing one of your own legs off. All those massive walls of homily, droning in painful detail on the wrongs of cheating... it's like Vogon poetry, only worse.
If Manio has them so traumatized they don't dare approach his works, then all hail.
