for a Pay for Gay fiction that contains mostly NSFW scenes, this has an interesting characterization and storyline. it was so well-written and thought how heartwarming all their communication was midway through thinking nothing could go wrong, but that ending just left me so speechless that i'm typing this comment with my mouth still hanging open.

love this so much. author taking the usual "a whole lifetime of thought in a few seconds" trope into a witty and creative work! the award is very much deserved.

i thought for a sec that the grumpy girl reminds me of the lead from Cynical Dog and i realized that they were made by the same author. they even have similar uniforms so it'd be funny if they ever are the same girl who's currently dating someone at school while keeping a hitman as a pet at home.

i've already read this a few years back. now re-reading this again, the twist still had me shaken to the core.

this was a short read but it felt so real. this is why adult life would always be the superior genre in fictions for me.

as an ace myself, loving romance but still having a hard time understanding it due to the lack of desires, this hits right at home. this series is now an instant favorite.

and I don't think it's right to compare this to Bloom Into You. both are great series but completely different. while Hinako and Asahi are asexuals, Yuu definitely falls into the aromantic spectrum whom still feels desires. both series are a good depiction of Aro/Ace in their own way. :)
