I kind of get the feeling that people have been misunderstanding what this series is about from the very beginning. If you think of this as just a romance manga certainly it’s going to be frustrating to read.

I think of it as being like one of those art installations where someone rigs an existing type of machine to go through a pattern of surprising variations on its usual behavior.

So it’s really, really stupid—and I mean that in the best way possible.

Every time a manhua gets on the reader, sinophobes come post their blanket generalizations against Chinese stuff. Some get banned, more come. It gets so tiring.

Well that's why I said "80%". I'm not completely against every chinese stuff but you can't deny that chinese comics are super cringe no matter what the genre is. Of course if you're a "consoomer" and will suck anything they put out, you do you.

Not too sure about this one. On one hand, would she have wanted to not be alone if she was transmigrated to a nice household? And, why isn't she concerned about her family, which should be the appropriate response either way? Why was she so happy about the money?

AKA, It seems like she has forgotten quite a few modern ethics, and important people in her life (like the crush she was just right next to a few minutes ago) all of a sudden. Is her head just messed up right now? If I was in such a position, my most immediate external worry would be about my friend that I was just suddenly seperated from.

The second person's transmigration scene was all good, tho.

Volume 4 is almost entirely a battle manga. I'm not joking, these are spoilers for the chapters that haven't been translated yet, there's another group of characters who are all yuri, and for some reason or another, our MC and some of the girls she's gotten yuri with end up in a volume long showdown with them. Fights are had, fists are flown, and someone even gets hit by a car. It's a full on battle manga, and I don't think a lot of people read this wanting to see that.

I read the raw a long time ago and I agree those chapters aren't really as funny as the previous ones, but they aren't particularly bad either. I guess Mochi want to change the direction a bit so it's not repetitive but I would prefer to have some progressions on the story with the characters instead of changing it into an action manga

I just wanna say that this is a gag manga, the yuri endgame is inevitable no matter what so no need to point everything out. But if you want to complicate things, I won't stop you

I think Kimura really did have a crush on Mizushima; she did get nervous whenever the two of them were alone together, not to mention this page. That said, when I reread the manga recently, I noticed that she's also always looked at Hiyama in a positive light. Even at the beginning, she admired her and wanted to be friends. For example, when her friend said she was Hiyama's rival, Kimura's response was "That's way too presumptuous!"; when Mizushima said he was surprised they were friends, Kimura thought "Does that mean it's strange for someone perfect like Hiyama-san to hang out with a plain person like me?"

To sum up, it's definitely possible Kimura was crushing on both Hiyama and Mizushima from the beginning, and was just focusing on Mizushima due to some combination of comphet and Hiyama's various antics scaring her. Now that she's gotten to know Hiyama better (and also gotten used to her...*unique* personality lol) she's starting to realize it more. It's been building since the ice cream "date," too; see here and here.

I feel like pushing someone down a flight of stairs is such a common manga trope that I see almost never treated as attempted murder.

I can't wait for a manga author to clue in on the fact that people die when they get killed and it's kinda a big deal to try to kill someone.

In case anyone got curious about the mention of Plutarch in the credit page, he's a Greek philosopher, historian and biographer who lived in late first century CE in the og Roman Empire; Plutarch's famous for the series of biographies named Parallel Lives, and in the first volume, Life of Theseus, he wrote about the "Ship of Theseus", the paradox/debate over whether or not a ship that has had all of components replaced one by one would remain the same ship.

Pretty low tier twist, especially since the ghost girl refers to the other girl as a ghost,

I just reread the thing panel by panel, and found no place where Obvious Ghost Girl (OGG from now on) calls Twist Ghost Girl (TGG) a ghost in an obvious manner.

• The obviously adressed ghostly mentions are page 2 panel 3 (TGG to OGG) and panel 4 (TGG talking to OGG) and page 3 panels 3 and 5 (TGG talking to OGG)
• The "talking about ghostly things not letting clear whom it is adressed to" is page 2 panel 4, to page 3 panel 1 (OGG seemingly talking about herself),
• The parts where "ghostly things are mentioned but it is deliberately unclear whose girl's inner monologue we're reading" (setting up the twist) are page 4 panels 3 to 5 (seemingly TGG thinking of OGG, really might be either GG); and page 5 panels 4 and 5 (seemingly OGG thinking of TGG's direct question on panel 3, really TGG pondering her own words)
• The ONLY obvious mention of TGG being a ghost comes in page 6, the twist, and it's TGG herself who says so.

TL;DR: Nope, that was just you misreading a (deliberately confusing) dialogue. Because deliberately confusing, that's why.

I think Aoi is Yuu's mother, because Yuu (and particularly her sister) look very similar to Aoi.

That's just the artist's style that made everyone look similar. Guess she intended to build a shared-universe for her works but this one got axed before it could make a connection

Oh damn, Miss Sunflower’s going through Matsuri withdrawals and it’s showing. Also, not the biggest fan of Ayame basically being paired off with part-timer kun now, but we’ll see what happens.

There will be a chapter about his graduation. I'm guessing it will be about Ayame missing him (as she said she will feel a bit lonely) but it won't go beyond anything and leaves an open ending. I also don't like her being paired off with him, a het ship in an almost-all-girls manga feel like, I don't know, a betrayal :((
