@elevown Well there is a VN named hustle cat where you get to work at a cursed cafe where all the employes turn into cats from time to time. It isn't exclusively yuri but there are both male and romantic partners and you can have your character use the pronouns She, He or They... now that I read what I wrote Hustle Cat really isn't like nekopara a lot huh? Well regardless I'll throw it out there.

I really loved this chapter. Despite being a silly comedy series this feels a lot more grounded and real than many super serious dramas.

I wouldn't use "useless lesbian" here, one is obvious a hopeless lesbian for her friend while the other seems to be indifferent, like she could take having their friendship going to the next level or keep it as is. Also, they are young (looks to me like middle school?) so they can get a pass on "useless lesbian", it's the adults that truly deserve the term "useless lesbian".

You know there's really not much XX happening to girls from different species.

The japanese title uses OO (marumaru) instead of XX.
As far as I'm aware the expression OO would more or less translate to "blank". Meaning that the title would translate to "A Story About Doing blank to Girls From Different Species".
I believe translating it as XX makes it look more sexual than it actually is.
Then again I'm neither a native english speaker nor a native japanese speaker. So there is a good chance that the scanlation group knows better than me.
