It's also totally not like you're just saying the Miyuki x Reika is not OOC just to disagree. Because it clearly is. With the Davi x Makoto being a close second.

What i attempted to say (pardon my crappy way of saying it) was that while the Miyuki x Reika pairing is not as likely as Nao x Reika (can't call it completely ooc people often don't end up with the person closest to them), with the way it is done here Miyuki feels quite in character but placed in a porn universe and they don't end as a coupling. She just gets caught up on something against better judgement.

So in short i'm trying to say it's not really a pairing it's just Miyuki being Miyuki in a porn world and Reika getting caught up in it.

And most ooc award definetly goes to raquel ;p

Didn't really enjoy this every pairing felt kinda distant and the author couldn't really bring forward the right amount of emotion to immerse me and it didn't bring forward anything else to make it enjoyable as a purely porn plot either.

To be fair every character in all of the stories are acting ooc as the "plot" is just a device to get the sex going. Altough personally the Miyuki x Reika didn't leave me with the worst case of oocitis, it just felt as the usual Miyuki pulling others along with what she does put in a porniverse.

Every age gap + lolicon manga (and even some others) should technically be tagged that way because of statutory rape. Manga is typically tagged with rape only when it's at least somewhat violent or obvious because that's what people interested in that tag are looking for.

Have to agree about the comments, not the best thread but decent.

On the first point i have to disagree though, any form of non consentual sex is legaly rape even if you disregard statuatory rape. So the rape tag should really be used to warn those who feel bad about readign a manga where you see a girl who screams and cries whil trying to desperatly crawl from someone sexually abusing her, as lolicon in itself doesn't imply darker content.

Most say that i like vice pres, she looks very promising indeed.

There's also the question of why the other girls dislike her so much. The way that was positioned in the story demands it be slightly more than throwaway justification.

To be fair not really, she's a high school girl that is beautiful but rough and bad at socialising, thus fit in badly with the other girls making her a perfect target for bullying.

This is kinda sad too read. Makes me want to read Akai Ito even more but the translation has been abandoned, not like agth would work either with it being a console game also if anything like aoishiro i would probably not get most of the stuff using that method either.

Some people prefer boiling potatoes before peeling them. The way they turn out is a bit different like this.
Peeling after boiling is actually easier, but you need to cool them down, so if you don't have time for that you should peel before boiling.
Also, fresh "young" potatoes during summer can be eaten without peeling at all.

Yah, I know some species of potatoes that can be eaten w/out peeling, or even cooking. But peeling after cooking is... I'll never do that since I'd always be chopping them before cooking. Off topic, you should have a taste of Pickled Potatoes, a side dish commonly seen in my country. They are small (<5cm in diameter) potatoes boiled in sauce, the latter consisting of soy sauce, sugar and some anise.
Maybe Mado's method only applies to to-be-smashed potatoes.

I've personally never made pre-peeled potatoes outside of mass cooking (school cafeteria yuck..)and last couple of years i only eat potatoes during summer when you can get "fresh" potatoes as they taste much better and don't need peeling.

Also on the point she's making potato salad, having peeled potatoes gives it a lack of color and makes it feel cheap. Also that sounds quite tasty.

What the fuck was this? Suddenly a jarring change of tone driving my enjoyment down the shitter pipe, felt mindfuck as if I was suddenly reading something else suck in between the pages... I am NOT talking about the rushed rough drafts the mangaka turned in, shitstorm bombardment started before those.

Not sure what bit you're talking about exactly. Most of it seems fine to me, generally slice of life with an overarching plot of their progression as a couple, which comes more to the fore as the series progresses.

The bit that did jar me a lot was the bit with the other girl spying on them, then extorting Otome for sex. And Otome going along with it! What!? That was not only disturbing, but made no sense for Otome's character and worse, it didn't even have a narrative impact as it was essentially forgotten and never referred to again. If nothing else, that had a serious negative effect an otherwise great series for me.

You know holding each other while nude does not automatically equal sex right?

The extortion was for nude pictures (still bad i guess) then as Hina desperately tried for more, getting rejected again. Then she broke down in tears and Otome held her to comfort her. At no point was it really implied that they did anything more.
