The idea that lurking should be considered some bad or sinister thing is bizarre to me, given a great many forums have traditionally encouraged new members to do just that. Reading without commenting for a while gives you an opportunity to lean what sort of place it is, and what sort of things are acceptable in the group.

This is a public thread, and despite it being started to give a specific group a place to go, there's bound to be a lot of people reading here who weren't part of that group to start with.

It's culturally a little hard to completely blow off my extended family. At the same time, I think my mom is so different from the rest of her family, and she knows how her siblings are, that she's protected me from them ever since I came out. They also put out a good number of original doujins. I don't usually read the doujins related to series because most of the time I'm not familiar enough with them, but it's probably nice too.

I also prefer original doujins for the same reasons. The only ones I really go out of my way to read are the Saki ones, but that's a manga/anime series I follow as much or more for the non-yuri aspects as I do for the yuri subtext.

Oh and I'm excited for the Office Girls one. It's kinda a strange series I guess but I'm down to see what happens.
Yuriism releases things pretty steadily and I find most of their stuff interesting. Their webpage is easy to navigate and looks chill too, so it's all good.

I diidn't/don't follow scanlators except for Yuriism. I guess I did when I saw that they'd display at what stage of the scanlation each of their current projects were, and that kinda hyped me up haha, when I saw that something was being typeset or cleaned or qc'd c:

Yeah kanojo blended some into icecream for me and put dark chocolate syrup on top. Happy girl right here. There's also ones that are frozen on a stick and dipped into chocolate. Ah no I didn't say anything about it. We hired her, and she started not long ago, but I don't really have to work with her alone. I don't go into the office much, but I do go at least once a week for a company lunch meeting, where she asked if I wanted to go for a drink after work, and I told her that I was leaving the office after the meeting (which was true). That's all so far lol.

It's not worth anybody feeling guilty about it (I know you're not saying that). I've formed an opinion on the matter just given my time talking with the people here over the months, and I don't see much of a way to reverse it now that I feel that way. I'm sure you didn't mean for the rest of what falls out from your observation, but I know it to be the case. Why would a couple mutually lie about seeing a heart device? They wouldn't. I know what Su/Lin has said on the matter before; it seemed pretty out there, but I'm not the type to dig into it. I try to take people at face value, which is probably not the greatest strategy on an online forum. And none of this means I can't appreciate some of the stuff we talked about anyway.

This thread really went off the rails. Honestly still letting the whole situation with Su sink in. If she's lied about her condition and the mechanics of her heart transplant, then by default, pretty much everything about Lin is contrived as well. I've had some long ass conversations with Lin, so just thinking about all that, I can't help but find it incredibly... elaborate.

It seems like a relatively easy thing for the moderators/admins to verify, since almost all forums record each post's IP address. If Su says she's off somewhere else and she and Lin are still posting from the same IP address, it's pretty obvious. I guess there's still the possibility of using proxies, but again... elaborate, and an awful an amount of effort.

Hey buddy, I've just hit a busy patch with work and still trying to maintain a social life and exercise and stuff, so I'm finding less and less time for chilling around Dynasty. Things with kanojo (what we call my girlfriend, soon-to-be fiance, for all the newcomers), are good, though I think the shooting in Orlando wasn't exactly a surprise in the sense that it was bound to happen at some point, it still took us aback and we've been trying to find ways that we can help the victims. It can get a little iffy just donating money, because you never know if it will actually get to the right people. As for the ring, it's still on the way :) Should be here about a week or so from now and we'll probably exchange them some time around our anniversary which is coming up. Honestly, even without the rings, I feel very very very very very engaged already, since I think I now get a call from both my own mother and my future mother-in-law almost every single day, and wedding plans always come up... They have no self-control lol.

Nice, I'll be fine, technically I am okay, just pretty depressed, more than normal, I'll get better eventually, I always get, and I have some things to distract myself, like Skyrim, though I should go back to work soon, might get fired even though boss is my stepfather... (>_<)
