Examples? I've seen a bit of their work and I don't really get this one at all. Do Hyouka, KnK and/or all their pre-'09 series have a good deal of "bait?"

I thought K-On!, Free!, and maybe even Tamako Market were good examples of this. I haven't watched Hyouka, and don't really have too much to say about KnK. KnK was set het from the very start.

Hum.... I don't know, I don't even know what is the fuss with KyoAni what did they ever do to make you people so angry?? I don't even recall what they do at all -sighs-

I loved the scene,yes,love the animation and character design,if it ends up Shouichi what's his face and Kumiko it's gonna suck so hard but based on what everyone says, it's queer bait so.. I would love it for it to end up yurily or close to it hehe,those two...really... It'd be a shame not to.

Well, they've had a tendency in the past to lead us to believe that, with strong subtext, there could be same-sex romance amongst the characters in much of the animes they've created. However, from the looks of it, KyoAni were never serious about those possibilities, never made any gay ships canon, and would, a lot of times settle for cliche het romance. That's why they've made us frustrated.

Yes, I agree. I would really love it if it all ends up how we want it to end up, but I know it's not guaranteed even with this strong development.

Man, I was so hyped up to see a doujin that had a happy lesbian couple with a happy family, because that's pretty rare to find. But I guess it all sunk down the drain at the end. I just... sigh

I'm looking forward to this actually. Even though the plot may be kinda nonsensical, there's a bit of a charm to it. Maybe it's the art style or the personality of our main girl. But, please let her fall in love with the mom. I just. Personally, I think that kiss nailed it, alright? >3> I know it's been said by others that don't want the same thing, but if she ends up with airplane girl, I'm gonna be disappointed.
