I am 100% amused by the fact that Madoka was so beautifully gay that people of hetero interest were like "I want to be a part of it". It reminds me of Legend of Korra where Makorra shippers made their own straight ending.

Where's Flips when you need them? Or Nezchan? They usually understand these "hidden meanings" stories. Because this one missed me. Maybe she didn't think her feelings were love because when you truly love someone, you want them to be happy, no matter who with. And she didn't want sempai's love to come true. Though she didn't realize that she herself is sempai's love. I dunno.

Well since you asked...

I don't think Maki was ever aware that she was Hirasaka's love. She was, of course, and continues to be the one Hirasaka looks at, and that's why Hirasaka puts the ring on her wrist.

However, when she sees that Maki has a ring with her (that was forced on her by her friend) she assumes Maki is in love with someone else. So she's heartbroken of course, but keeps looking at Maki. Maki misses all of this, and assumes that Hirasawa is in love with some guy or something. Later, she tries to symbolically break Hirasawa's love for this mystery person by cutting the ring, but realizes it's meaningless to do so. However, she cuts her own because she thinks that relying on the ring is coercive (but doesn't think it through that then Hirasawa's ring would be too) rather than honestly being in love.

It seems like Hirasawa somehow realizes that Maki removed her own ring at the end, rather than letting it break and thus having her love be realized, and thus she still has hope.

That's my take. It's definitely bittersweet, but at least it leaves a slender thread of possibility at the end.

Gaku was driven by love to observe, interfere, and protect Yukari's future; and in doing so, she lost the ability to interact with anything in the world (including Yukari). however, Gaku simply couldnt, on a subconscious level, let go of Yukari. Gaku loved her too much to do that. so she, subconsciously, through her meddling and interfering, gave Yukari the ability to always be able to see the real Gaku, no matter what form she takes. Yukari's brain couldnt handle seeing an abstract concept in physical form, so it chose robots to use as a visual metaphor for it. this just had the side effect of allowing Yukari to see the real form of everything else. or, in other words, to see every living thing as a robot. so yes, Yukari has her vision because Gaku loves her.

so what is the real nature of Alice's unique sight? basically, her perception is one that solves problems; a perception borne out of the fact that Gaku had a problem that needed solving. all throughout the story, Alice's sole purpose was to be used by Gaku to achieve the ultimate goal of saving and protecting Yukari. she needed Alice to get to Jaunt, to take over Jaunt, to help propel her as the leading figure of the new age, and ultimately to discover the Theory Of Everything. it doesnt matter to Gaku if she ends up falling in love with Alice. she always, at the end of the day, only viewed Alice as a tool to use to solve her problem. as soon as Gaku had her solution, there was no hesitation. she discarded Alice literally the very moment Alice showed her the Theory Of Everything.

Did Yukari still died ? Or I didn't understood that letter ?

Whether or not Yukari dies isn't really discussed. We just get to see the letter that she wrote to Gaku-chan just in case she did die. (or rather that's at least what I interpreted it as).

But man, I love the wrench that they throw in about how Gaku might be the "god" of the world and that Yukari's power was created from it in both creation and response. I thought it was super cool. It reminds me of an old internet religion theory called The Egg and also reminds me of Madoka in other ways. How Homura ended up making Madoka so important. It was a very nice way to end it that really solidly reflected the rest of this mindboggling series hahaha

I think I love this oneshot so much because of the fact that Mika had realized that she herself might also be doing harm. And you can bet they'll both grow from it! It was a lot stronger of a story because of that <3
